Volumetric Feeders

Acrison’s ruggedly built Model 101 and 130 Series Volumetric Feeders are specifically designed to accurately and dependably meter granular or pelletized (free-flowing) dry solid ingredients.

Acrison - Model 105 and 140 Series - Auger Metering Volumetric Feeders for Dry Solids

Acrison’s heavy duty Model 105 and 140 Series of Volumetric Feeders for dry solids feature a unique, dissimilar speed, double concentric auger metering mechanism designed to accurately and reliably meter a very wide variety of dry solid materials. The metering mechanism consists of a large `conditioning auger` or Intromitter, concentrically mounted around a smaller, slower rotating `metering auger`, operating at dissimilar speeds in a fixed proportion to each other by a single variable speed gearmotor.

Bin Dischargers

Acrison - Multiple Auger/Agitator Bin Dischargers

Acrison’s Multiple Auger/Agitator Bin Dischargers provide positive and uninterrupted flow (discharge) of an exceptionally wide variety of dry solid materials from storage.  In the utilization of opposed multiple segmented helical sections, or other type agitation configurations, slowly rotating within the body of the Bin Discharger, definitive internal mechanical agitation produces highly reliable downward flow and discharge of even the most difficult-handling materials. Converging designs that create product flow patterns typical of conical, pyramidal or wedge type bin bottom designs are eliminated, thus assuring substantially increased gravity flow into the body of the Bin Discharger for unrestricted dependable discharge.

Continuous Blending Systems

Acrison - Model 301 - Continuous Blenders with Single Helicoidal Blending Auger

Acrison’s Model 301 Continuous Blenders are specifically designed for use in conjunction with Acrison volumetric and/or gravimetric feeders to form a complete metering/blending system. The Model 301 utilizes a specially designed single helicoidal mixing auger for blending granular, pelletized and certain amorphous dry solid materials on a continuous basis. In operation, the rotating blending auger, housed in a trough or tube, conveys and tumbles the material with a portion of the blending auger also configured to produce a partial bi-directional flow pattern, resulting in a highly effective and efficient mixing action.

Acrison - Model 350 Series - Dissimilar Speed Double Concentric Auger Blenders

Acrison’s Model 350 Continuous Blenders are specifically designed for use in conjunction with Acrison volumetric and/or gravimetric feeders to form a complete metering/blending system. The Model 350 utilizes a modification of Acrison’s unique, dissimilar speed, double concentric auger mechanism for the thorough and homogeneous mixing of dry solids with dry solids and, in certain applications, dry solids with liquids. Even products having input feed ratios of 2000:1 can be successfully blended – from the simple and basic coating of a pelletized product with a lubricant or a releasing agent, to the mixing of a paste-like blend having the consistency of dough.

Weigh Feeders

Acrison - Model 403 Series - Weight Loss Weigh Feeders

The Model 403 Series of `Weight-Loss-Differential` Weigh Feeders utilize Overhead type weighing systems specifically designed by Acrison for continuous or batch weighing of dry solids or liquids on a `weight-loss` basis. Model 403 Weighing Systems are technologically advanced lever mechanisms (scales) utilizing Acrison designed and manufactured stainless steel flexures for all pivotal connections.  Frictionless in operation, these performance-proven weighing systems are extremely stable, exceptionally rugged, and counter-balanced so that only the net weight of material in the metering mechanisms (and in their supply hoppers or tanks) is weighed. Acrison’s various controllers and control systems encompass the latest technologies and algorithms to ensure optimum levels of performance.

Bin Vent Filters

Acrison - Model BV-60, BV-100, BV-500, BV-1000 - Bin Vent Filters

Acrison Bin Vent Filters trap dust particulate from escaping into the atmosphere during refilling of an Acrison supplied storage hopper, or an Acrison `Weight-Loss` Weigh Feeder hopper, and will prohibit either a positive or negative pressure from occurring within the hopper to which it attaches during refill. During refill of a hopper, the displaced air (often dust-laden) enters the Bin Vent Filter, passing through its cartridge filter(s) where dust/air separation occurs. Dust particulate is trapped on the outside of the surface of the filter, allowing only clean air to pass through and into the atmosphere. Acrison Bin Vent Filters do not have any moving parts or a motorized blower; special ventilation is not required.

Bulk Bag Unloaders

Acrison - Model 810 - Bulk Bag Unloader

Acrison’s Model 810 Bulk Bag Unloader provides a clean, efficient and effective means for discharging a wide assortment of dry solid materials contained within various size and type bulk bags. Especially effective discharging non-free flowing materials, the Model 810 utilizes `controlled vibration` for emptying the entire contents of a bulk bag, typically into an Acrison metering mechanism. The ruggedly constructed unloader will handle bags weighing up to two tons; the bags can be disposable, reusable or lined.

Model 820 - Bulk Bag Unloader

Acrison`s Model 820 Bulk Bag Unloader provides a clean, safe and highly effective means for discharging a wide assortment of dry solid materials from within various size and type bulk bags. The bags can be placed (lifted) into the unloader by a fork truck or hoist. When loaded with a fork truck, the unloader`s structure includes adjustable bag rack guide rails with tapered side guides to help align and locate the bulk bag during the loading process.

Dust Collectors & Bag Dump Stations

Acrison - Model DC-100, DC-500 & DC-1000 - Dust Collectors

Acrison Pulse-Jet Dust Collectors have been designed primarily for use with Acrison dry solids metering/hoppering equipment as a clean, safe and efficient means of collecting dust typically generated when product is being loaded into Acrison supplied equipment (i.e., storage bins or hoppers), while prohibiting the dust from escaping into the atmosphere. They are not designed or intended for continuous operation.
