RO Antiscalants

Radix - Model 31 - Food Grade RO Antiscalant

RADIX 31 is a broad spectrum antiscalant, especially designed to inhibit deposition of inorganic scales in multiple applications areas, particularly in RO membrane systems. It is efficiently utilized in inhibition of multiple inorganic scale species including calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, calcium fluoride, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and silica. It stabilizes metal ions to prevent metal oxides precipitation and disperses existing metal oxides/ hydroxides, silt and clay particles.

RO Maintenance Chemicals

Rokleen - Model 21 - Low pH RO Membrane Cleaner For Colloidal Deposits

ROKLEEN 21 Low pH Membrane Cleaner is a fast acting formulation for cleaning of RO/NF/UF membranes by dissolving and dispersing organic and mineral deposits which primarily comprise of carbonates and sulfates of calcium, barium, stronium and magnesium. ROKLEEN 21 Low pH Membrane Cleaner is also effective in removing difficult iron scales, metal oxide deposits as well as silicates and colloidal clay.

Activated Carbon

Acuro - Granular Activated Carbon

Granular Activated Carbon is produced from any carbonaceous material like Eucalyptus, Saw Dust, Rice Husk, Coal, Wood, Lignite and Coconut Shell, etc. But, OUR GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON IS MANUFACTURED FROM COCONUT SHELL ONLY So, it is hard compared with other carbon & has a higher surface area. COCONUT SHELL based granular activated carbon gives more adsorption capacity due to its micro porous structure and superior hardness. Equivalent and even better then NORIT, JACOBI, Donau Carbon, etc.

Iron Removal Media

Acuro - Birm Media

Birm is an efficient and economical method of removing iron and manganese compounds from raw water supplies. It may be used in either gravity fed or pressurized water treatment systems. It acts as insoluble catalyst to enhance the reaction between dissolved oxygen (D.O.) and the iron compounds. In ground water dissolved iron is normally in the ferrous bicarbonate state due to the excess of free carbon dioxide and is not filterable.

Water Filter Media

Acuro - Anthracite Filter Media

Anthracite Filter Media is commonly used as sub-fill and as a component of multi-media filters. Anthracite is a durable media with long life and a wide temperature range. It contains no silica to interfere in the production of ultra pure water.

Chlorine Tablets

Acuro - Chlorine Tablet

Chlorination of water is one of the worldwide-accepted method of disinfection and purification of water to make it potable. For inexpensive, economical and timely purification of drinking water, under the various schemes of protected water supply in rural areas, Chlorine Tablets are highly effective. This is the easiest method of disinfection and purification of water.

Ion Exchange Resins

Radon - Model C70 - Softner Resin

RADON C70 is a high capacity strongly acidic cation exchanger in bead form. It is based on cross linked polystyrene and has a gel structure. The resin contains sulphonic acid functional groups. It is supplied moist in the sodium form. Lower rinse volumes, high capacity, superior life pattern and proven track record make the RADON resins a preferred choice.

Biocides & Disinfectants - Oxidizing Biocides

Acuro - Peracetic Acid Biocides

Peracetic acid (C2H4O3) is a mixture of acetic acid (CH3COOH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in a watery solution. It is a bright, colorless liquid that has a piercing odor and a low pH value (2,8). Peracetic acid can also be produced by oxidation of acethaldehyde. Peracetic acid is usually produced in concentrations of 5-15%. When peracetic acid dissolves in water, it disintegrates to hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid, which will fall apart to water, oxygen and carbon dioxide. Peracetic acid degradation products are non-toxic and can easily dissolve in water. Peracetic acid is a very powerful oxidant; the oxidation potential outranges that of chlorine and chlorine dioxide.
