Adams Pit Conveyors (in-ground) are available in 3 styles, most common being the bushed steel (roller less) chain with drag flight paddle. These are designed the same way as our incline drag chain conveyor, but are built to be installed in a below grade concrete pit trough, such as under a railroad track or a drive over truck dump pit. They are made of 304 stainless steel truck sections; with heavy duty bushed steel (roller less) chain with stainless steel heat treated pins which eliminate kinking or binding of chain links.

Adams Screw Conveyors are available in several sizes in both diameter and overall length. There are some standard units, but most screw conveyors are custom built to fit your existing building or the new facility design. Size options are 9” to 16” diameter. Lengths vary per facility. Screw Conveyors are available in mild steel tube and flight or 304 stainless steel tube and flight. They can be installed in a wood box trough, mild steel or stainless steel u-trough (sectional) 10 foot pieces bolted together. The TEFC chemical duty motor size will depend on the overall length and the tons per hour in load rate required. Adams uses all heavy duty Dodge gear reduction shaft mount boxes, hardened machines shafts (diameters vary), and has easy to remove 2 piece style mid hanger bearings with Brass bushing inserts. They can be installed above or under roof, floor or wall mount.
