API Field Tanks

API 650 is the standard governing welded tanks for oil storage. It dictates tank design, fabrication, welding, inspection, and erection requirements. API 650 is widely used for tanks that are designed to internal pressures of 2.5 PSI or less and store products such as crude oil, gasoline, chemicals and produced water. Advance Tank has extensive experience with API 650 tanks ranging in diameter from 8` - 300` for refineries, terminals, pipeline facilities and other clients.

Custom Shop Tanks

Advance Tank has custom shop tanks located throughout the United States. These tanks and silos range from 6’ dia. to 16’ diameter and are built of duplex, stainless, or carbon steel. Advance Tank’s core business is field erected tanks. This field experience provides us with the unique ability to understand your needs. Unlike most manufactures who standardize design to streamline their efficiencies, Advance Tank builds each shop tank or silo to meet the exact specifications required by each client. Advance Tank can engineer, draft and fabricate specialized legged tanks, bins, silos, stacks and other exotic vessels.
