Our precision optical mirrors are designed to reflect light in the UV-VIS-NIR spectra making them an ideal choice for a wide variety of applications including aerospace, military and commercial avionics, scientific and medical instrumentation, academics and research, as well as industrial applications. Advanced Optics maintains a full range of in-stock optical mirrors and can provide customization to meet your unique requirements. We offer flat, wedged, and odd aspect ratio precision mirrors in almost any configuration. All of our mirrors may be purchased with a metallic, dielectric, or a partially reflective coating.

Optical windows are available in both precision and commercial grade to meet a wide range of specific applications. Our double-sided optical flats can be used as windows. Please refer to our optical flats page for additional information. Advanced Optics commercial grade windows offer a low-cost alternative to ultra-high precision optics. They are made of either soda lime glass or BOROFLOAT® 33 and flat to 1-3 waves per inch. Our windows can be ordered either uncoated or with an anti-reflective coating. Other optical glasses such as B270 and low iron glass available upon request.

Double sided flat may be used as a reference (test plate) against which the flatness of an unknown surface can be compared or as an optical window. Advanced Optics offers double sided optical flats made of low expansion borosilicate glass, fused quartz, fused silica and ZERODUR® up to 8 inches in diameter to meet various demanding applications. Surface flatness of λ/4 and λ/10 are available in low expansion borosilicate glass and λ/4, λ/10 and λ/20 in fused quartz, fused silica and ZERODUR®. In addition to our in-stock optical flats, we also offer custom fabricated optical flats to meet exact customer requirements.
