Geosynthetics Testing Service
Advanced Terra Testing`s (ATT) Geosynthetics testing services were introduced to complement the soils and rock testing services provided by ATT in response to a clear demand by many of the firm`s clients. ATT utilizes state of the art techniques and equipment in the testing process applying the most current American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Federal Test Method Standards (FTMS), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF 54), and Geosynthetic Research Institute (GRI) testing methods. The corporate policy relative to quality and calibration standards is utilized and is in general accordance with ISO 9000 Quality Standards and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Field Services
In response to increasing client needs and as a natural supplement to ATT`s extensive geosynthetics testing capabilities, ATT established the Field Services Division in 1995. The role of the Field Services Division is in the support of project specific Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA), Construction Quality Assurance (CQA), and forensic investigations involving applications of geosynthetics CQA services involve observing and documenting a contractor`s adherence to project specifications. Observations can include: subgrade preparation; placement of geosynthetics; inspection of mechanical connections; testing of trial welds and field welds; removal of destructive sample coupons and third party laboratory testing.
