The head office of AEL is located in Leisnig in Saxony. This are the most important milestones in the development of our company:

1958 - Foundation - Foundation as VEB Apparatebau und Eisengießerei Leisnig; main product: machine parts made of cast iron.
1965 - Heat exchanger - Heat exchanger are included in the product range in addition to casting products.
1991 - Change of name - Following the political Change and Reunification, the company is converted to a limited liability company (GmbH).
1996 - Privatisation - The managing directors Erhard Münch and Lothar Naumann purchase the company, which is now called AEL.
1998 - System technology - AEL begins with the manufacture of oil supply systems.

2016 - Management system - Introduction of an integrated management system for the entire production process. Increasing international focus of the company.
2017 - Acquisition - Increase in production capacity via the acquisition of the production halls of the former MAG in Grimma
