Aer Sampling’s Borosilicate Glass Probe Liner for isokinetic sampling. Best suited for applications requiring a high stack temperature of up to 932 ºF (500 ºC). Probe Liner is the surface that actually comes into contact with the flue gas sampled from the smoke-stacks/chimneys. It is frequently used together with a Probe Heater and a Probe Sheath. The Probe Liner is inserted into the Probe Heater, and the Probe Heater is inserted into the Probe Sheath. A sampling nozzle is then attached to both the Probe Sheath and the Probe Liner.

A collection of seven different sized sampling nozzles in one kit. The point at which the sampling gas enters the sampling train and the part of the sampling train which enters the smoke-stack/chimney. Ideally, the sampled gas should have the same velocity as the flue gas inside the stack (Isokinetic sampling ratio = 100%). This means that the nozzle size you use is determined by the velocity of the smoke-stack gas. Figure D.1, Annex D, ISO 9096:2003(E) is a good illustration of this.

This assembly consists of an MKORTM Heater Box (Hot Box) and a Box Extender (Riser Box)—used in Aer Sampling`s US EPA Method 5 Standard Configuration sampling train. In this configuration, an Impinger Box (Cold Box) can be attached to the Riser Box for your sampling convenience. Furthermore, the boxes are modular, allowing you to detach the Riser Box from the Hot Box and use Aer Sampling`s Flexible Configuration sampling train instead to suit your other sampling needs. The MKORTM Heater Box (Hot Box) holds and heats up the filter and the glass filter holders during sampling. Adjust the desired temperature at the Meter Console. This product is between the sampling probes and the condensing systems (E.g., Cold Box, Impingers).

For use when in-stack filtering is desirable. Filters NOT included.

This kit contains both the Impinger Insert with the modified Greenburg Smith (Plain) design tip and the 500mL bottle.
