Orange windsocks are made of high quality materials. We begin with a long-lasting international orange nylon cloth that has been treated with a water repellant and a UV inhibitor. We then double-stitch every seam with weather resistant nylon thread. A 400 lb. tensile strength webbing is added in the throat for reinforcement. Brass grommets are evenly spaced allowing for the standard lace-on or tie wrap method of attachment. Aerosock provides tie wraps with every order.

Often referred to as a “Canadian Windsock,” the orange-white-orange design makes it a snap to see your windsock whether it’s a sunny day or a gray sky. We also offer this design in red-white-red. Ask us to do a Special Order with colors you desire!!

Our Orange Reflective Windsock is made of the same durable nylon as our other windsocks, but has two strips of reflective material added to the windsock for added visibility at night. One strip is at the throat with the other strip at the apex.

This frame design is truly a mainstay for general aviation. The strong, sturdy, double ball-bearing and ¼” cold rolled steel design will offer you many years of exceptional service. Having a ¾” collar or female thread looking up allows you to simply screw the extension rod into the awaiting threads for easy installation. We offer this frame in 18”, 24”, and 36” diameters. Our BB Series frames have just gone through a re-design! We recently made the ring attachment arms one piece, both top and bottom. This allows us to make a very strong weld on top and overall creating the strongest frame on the market. We then put a state of the art black powder coat finish on the frame for added durability. Use this frame when you wish to have your windsock throat open and ready. This frame also sports a double-ball bearing design and is manufactured beginning with a ¼” cold rolled steel. The extension extends into the windsock approximately 28” which holds your windsock open. Have a ¾” female thread or collar looking up for installation. Offered in 18” and 24” diameters one is sure to meet your requirements. These frames also have the black powder coat finish for added durability.

We affectionately refer to this frame as our “economy frame.” Offered in a 10” diameter, this zinc-plated frame is a favorite for the aviation enthusiast. Just slip it over a ¾” rod or water pipe, with a shaft collar underneath and on top of the frame, and you are ready to go. Shaft collars can be found under More Products.
