Aestus GeoTrax VIZ™ provides geospatial integration and 2D and 3D visualization of our ultra-high data density GeoTrax Survey™ subsurface imagery with historical and follow-up confirmation drilling data. This process capitalizes on our clients previous investments in historical drilling data and allows us to effectively calibrate or convert our electrical image data to correspond to the subsurface issues of interest to our clients.

Without the right conceptual site models, too many environmental sites are not cleaned up and end up in treadmill-type cycles for years or decades, significantly increasing the cost and time to site closure:

Historically, environmental consultants, geophysicists, and academics that have tried using conventional electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) technology and/or other geophysical methods to image contaminant plumes have been largely dissatisfied with the results. Our early experiments with standard electrical resistivity imaging and other technologies also yielded unsatisfactory results. The desire to develop a method for solving these complex environmental site problems was the genesis of the founding of Aestus in 2001.
