Alteau - Flood Barrier / Water Barrier
The Alteau Barrier: is the culmination of more than two years testing and development, the flood barrier is the third evolution of a flood defence principle that has been in use for several years. Alteau Barrier is manufactured from 650g polyethylene fabric. By using the force of the water the Alteau Barrier rises automatically up to a maximum height of 700 mm and lengths of several hundred metres. Particularly designed for and used by rapid response emergency services it is a portable, self-inflating, reusable water barrier and as such it does not need any external power source or pre inflation. It can be installed in minutes by two people and can be easily packed and reused for a different application by hosing down and rolling up.
Aqua-Sac - Self-Inflating Sandbag
Our market leading self-inflating sandbag which has our UK Patented center stitch, which is essential to make the bags fit for purpose. Aqua-Sac is a proven alternative to traditional sand bags for flood defence. Comprising of a heavy duty Jute sack and a cotton liner with our Patented center stitch. Containing a Super-Absorbent Polymer the Aqua-Sac is simply submerged in water. After five minutes 13 litres of water will have been absorbed creating an inflated “sandbag”.
Flood Pump Box
The U 5 K (S) is a very powerful and versatile submersible pump for both permanent and portable use. Thanks to the removable sieve basket, it is possible to increase the throughput diameter from 10 mm to 20 mm. This basement wastewater pump also has an integrated flushing device to reduce the accumulation of deposits and a shallow, built-in suction system for the disposal of floodwater.
