Tank Management Systems
VarioFox - Tank Management System
Nowadays it is hard to imagine complex logistics, production and maintenance processes without efficient communication technologies in areas where production processes have to be run permanently at an optimum rate. But smaller and medium sized companies in particular do not necessarily require network supported process visualization or even 24 hour round the clock manned supervision. For example: A 30000 litre tank contains Diesel fuel oil and an indication of the actual oil level is required locally at the tank fillpoint. A combined audible and visual alarm is required as soon as the oil level drops below 250 litres and a solenoid valve must close when the oil level reaches 25000 litres. At the same time, the oil level and alarm status needs to be monitored at any time on a remote PC which is located some 23 miles away.
Silo Protection
Silo Protection System
The SPS200 silo protection system features the specially designed and well proven high level ENT7-STF capacitance probe installed in the top of the silo. The ENT7-STF incorporates a unique system test facility which checks full operational capability during the test cycle. A silo top mounted pressure transmitter and fillpoint mounted display provides the tanker driver indication of pressure build-up in the silo and gives an early audible and visual high pressure alarm with a subsequent dirty filter alarm if the silo pressure continues to rise. The high pressure and dirty filter alarm trip point pressures are adjustable to suit individual silo characteristics.
Oil Water Separator Alarms
Layer Level Alarm / Overflow Alarm
The OSA monitors the level of the separated liquid in oil/petrol separators and generates an alarm signal when it is necessary to empty the separator. In addition, the maximum permissable level in the separator can be detected, preventing overfilling.
Storage Tank and Pipework Leak Detection
Leak Detection System
The LAG-14 ER Leak Detection System is designed to monitor the interstitial space of double skin steel or GRP non-pressurised storage tanks. Tanks may be located in safe or hazardous areas, above or below ground, and offset or direct fill type. The system consists of the LAG-14 ER Leak Detector, an anti-static plastic header tank complete with electrode and LAG installation kit. The header tank and interstitial space is filled with a suitable leak detection liquid. The electrode in the header tank is normally immersed in the leak detection liquid. A leak in either the inner or outer skin results in a fall of liquid level in the header tank, initiating a visual and audible alarm.
Eurovac - Leak Detection System
The Eurovac LAZ-04 Leak Detection System is designed to monitor the interstitial space of double skin steel or GRP non-pressurised storage tanks. Tanks must be located in safe areas, either above or below ground. A -500mbar vacuum is generated in the tank interstitial space via an internal pump. Leaks in either the inner or outer skin results in a loss of vacuum in the tank interstitial space, initiating a visual and audible alarm.
