Electrodeionization is a form of high purity water treatment technology.  EDI ultilizes a small amount of electrical current to continuously regenerate resin.  EDI is prefered rather than mixed bed ion exchange.  Mixed beds consume large volumes of hazardous chemical. Agape Water Solutions, Inc. provides EDI (electrodeionization) or CDI (continuous electrodeionization) systems.  Electrodeionization Systems are designed to optimize performance and minimize maintenance. This technology eliminates the hazardous acid and caustic required in chemically regenerated mixed bed ion exchange. When a DC current is applied to the device, resin is automatically regenerated at the same time ions are removed to concentrate stream.

Agape Water Solutions, Inc. provides RO Systems which utilize semi permeable membranes to purify water. Membranes are manufactured by companies such as Toray America, Hydranautics and Dow Filmtec. The spirally wound membranes are housed inside a round pressure vessel. Water pressure is applied at the membrane inlet to remove dissolved solids from the feed water. As the water flows across the outside of each membrane, the pressure drives pure water through the membrane and purified water exits through the internal permeate tube. The water remaining outside the membrane is concentrated and typically sent to drain.

We provide RO membranes from all the leading suppliers. We assist with the selection of membranes and projections that are right for your application if needed. Hydranautics, Dow Filmtec, Toray America, GE Osmonics and others. Membranes available are 4` dia and 8` dia x 40`L.

RO-EDI systems replace on-site regenerated mixed beds resin where end users do not wish to store, handle and neutralize chemicals. RO-EDI also replaces Service Deionization (SDI) or off-site regenerated mixed beds as EDI is more reliable, cost effective and requires little maintenance. Under environmental pressures and increased chemicals, companies are turning away from their traditional regeneration facility and electing instead to provide a service contract and lease EDI systems.
