FLUON ETFE
FLUON - Model ETFE - Resins
The mechanical and electrical insulation properties of ETFE are outstanding. It maintains stable mechanical and electrical properties while exposed to temperatures ranging from -200°C to +150°C. Superior tensile elongation and strength ensure no breakage by impact at room temperature. It is even resistant to low-temperature impact down to at least -80° C. Tolerant to almost all chemical agents and solvents, Fluon ETFE resins are also resistant to ultra-violet light, ideal for outdoor applications.
FLUON - Model AR-3300N - Flexible Fluoropolymer
This white fluoropolymer can be pigmented and is Fluon ETFE blended with a unique fluoroelastomer. It is more flexible than other fluoropolymers with excellent heat and chemical resistance. Fluon AR-3300N is ideal for wire and cable coating.
Fluon - Model Pfa - Copolymer of Tetrafluoroethylene
Fluon PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (C2F4) and perfluoroalkoxyethylene that can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques. It has a wide operating temperature range (-200° to +260°C) with excellent chemical, electrical, mechanical and surface properties and is supplied as solid, cylindrical pellets.
Cytop - Amorphous Fluoropolymer
with high optical transparency and excellent chemical, thermal, electrical and surface properties. It has good solubility in certain fluorinated solvents due to its amorphous nature. This, coupled with its thermoplastic characteristics, make it a popular choice as a coating for electronic materials.
AsahiGuard - Model E Series - Fluorinated Water and Oil Repellent
AsahiGuard E Series is a fluorinated water and oil repellent providing sustainable alternatives for many applications, including paper packaging, textiles, apparel, non-wovens, natural and synthetic leathers and home furnishings based on proven AGC C6 chemistry. AsahiGuard E-Series offers high performance properties with improved environmental and biological profiles. Products in the AsahiGuard E-Series range are PFOA-free* (free of perfluoroctanoic acid). *atorabovedetectionlimits.
Fluon - Model Etfe - Thermoplastic Fluoropolymer
Fluon ETFE is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer developed by Asahi Glass. It is a copolymer comprising of tetrafluoroethylene (C2F4) and ethylene (C2H4). Fluon ETFE is a balanced fluoropolymer that has chemical resistance and electrical properties comparable to typical fluoropolymer, such as PTFE, PFA and FEP and also is more progressive than ECTFE or PVdF with its improved mechanical strength and very easy moldability. Fluon ETFE offers customers the best solution, such as cost reduction compared to the use of other fluoropolymers, or shifting from conventional materials.
Ptfe - Granular Polymers
Fluon granular polytetrafluoroethylene ( PTFE ) polymers are fabricated by moulding and ram extrusion. Fine powders are suitable for applications requiring the very best mechanical or electrical properties. Agglomerated, free-flowing powders are suitable for general, automatic or isostatic moulding and extrusion of large sections.
ASAHIKLIN - Precision Cleaning Solvents
The ASAHIKLIN series is a range of fluorinated fluids which deliver technological cleaning solutions for applications where previously ozone layer depletion and climate change were major concerns.
Fluon PTFE
Fluon - Aqueous Dispersions (ADs)
Fluon Aqueous Dispersions (ADs) have been developed for coating metal, impregnating glasscloth and packings and for coagulation with pigments or fillers.
Fluon - Coagulated Dispersions (CDs)
Fluon Coagulated Dispersions (CDs) have been developed for paste extrusion into pressure hoses (e.g. hydraulic systems), tubes, pipe liners, electrical wire insulation and tape. Fluon CD grades are also used to make filtration membranes and technical fibres for textiles and industrial applications.
