Aguapuro - Model Series FRP - FRP MultiMedia Filters

Aguapuro Series FRP Filters are available from 8” up to 63” diameter sizes and from 0.5 to 500 M3/hr Flow rate when operated on 4.8 - 30 M3/hr/M2 velocity. Higher Flow Rates are designed on requests. Being constructed from vessel of FRP and Piping of UPVC / CPVC / SS 316, it gives complete corrosion free operation. These Units are available with either individual Butter Fly / Ball valves or Single Lever operated Manual / Auto Multi Port Valve depending on the requirement to provide ease in operation of backwash & rinse. Pneumatic Valves OR Solenoid Valves are also available for auto operation of the Filters.

Aguapuro series MILD Steel Water softener Filters are available from 300 mm to 4500 mm diameter sizes and from 1 m3 to 500 M3/hr Flow rate when operated at 4.8 to 30 M3/hr/M2 velocity. These Filters are fabricated using IS 2062 Mild Steel or Carbon Steel Plates & IS 1239 Pipes are used to fabricate Filters and its piping. Filters are internally Epoxy coated or Rubber Lined to have corrosion free operation.

Aguapuro - Microfiltration System

Micron Filtration is a type of physical filtration process where a contaminated fluid is passed through a special pore-sized cartridge to separate suspended particles from process liquid. The filters are offered in stainless/carbon steel construction compatible to standard cartridges of different micron ratings. The huge amount of minerals, metals, chemicals and bacteria within our water can be treated with a water filter. Micron size effectively becomes a measure of the efficiency of a filter in terms of purity. The smaller the micron measure, the more is taken out of the water leaving you with pure water.

Aguapuro - Electro Deionisation (EDI) System

Electro-Deionization is a combination of Ion-exchange resins, Ion-exchange membranes and direct current to continuously deionize water without using chemicals. It’s a self-regenerating process that provides a consistent flow of high-quality deionized water. The elimination of regeneration chemicals reduces operating cost and cost of waste handling of hazardous chemicals. RO (reverse Osmosis) is used prior to EDI either with Single or 2 Pass depending on the Raw Water Parameters. Aguapuro RO-EDI’s High Purity Electro-deionization systems are used for a wide variety of applications including critical boiler make-up, microelectronics, and critical purity manufacturing. These systems are available in a range of capacities and can be furnished as containerized or skid-mounted systems.

Aguapuro - Commercial NanoFiltration System

Nanofiltration is a separation process characterized by organic, thin-film composite membranes with a pore size adequate to remove divalent & Multi Valent Molecules. Unlike reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, which reject all solutes, NF membranes can operate at lower pressures and offer selective solute rejection based on both size and charge. It is also a thin film composite membrane designed to reject multi-valent ions such as various salts, sugars, proteins, polysaccharides, etc. With a pore size positioned between RO & UF the nano-filtration membrane becomes ideal for concentrating or demineralising in the dairy industry and removal of organic matter, hardness removal, sulphate removal, desalting etc. for wastewater recovery.

Reverse osmosis water treatment provides the finest level of filtration. The RO membrane acts as a barrier to all salts and inorganic molecules, as well as organic molecules with a molecular weight greater than approximately 100. By applying a pressure that exceeds the osmotic pressure, the reverse effect occurs. Fluids are pressed back through the membrane, while dissolved solids stay behind.

Demineralized Water also known as Deionized Water; Water that has had its mineral ions removed. Mineral ions such as cations of sodium, calcium, iron, copper, etc and anions such as chloride, sulphate, nitrate, etc are common ions present in Water. A DM Water System produces mineral free Water by operating on the principles of ion exchange, Degasification, and polishing. Raw Water is passed via two small polystyrene beads filled (ion exchange resins) beds. While the cations get exchanged with hydrogen ions in first bed, the anions are exchanged with hydroxyl ions, in the second one.

MBBR system produces following parameters. COD - less than 100 ppm, BOD - less than 30 ppm. Suspended solids - less than 30 ppm.
