A technology which offers filter media with excellent mechanical filtration efficiency and low pressure drop due to its unique 3-layer structure. Each layer can be customized to deliver specific properties and an optimal combination of strength, mechanical particle removal efficiency (even at small particle sizes) and pressure drop. Trinitex® is easy to process on rotary and knife pleating lines.

Combines the advantages of our cellulose synthetic media and our fine fiber meltblown technology. It delivers a media with excellent reverse-pulsing properties as well as high dust holding properties for extended pulse cycles.

The oil filter is one of the key components of the engine system. Ahlstrom has been developing new solutions to increase oil filter media performance. Quality of oil is a significant factor in the overall performance and lifetime of combustion engines. Ahlstrom`s engine oil filtration media protects the engine from contaminants (soot, dust, particles…) preserving the quality of oil, reducing the engine wear and increasing service intervals.

Ahlstrom`s hydraulic filter media delivers optimal and reliable filtration performance for industrial, mobile and aerospace applications. Our portfolio offers a complete range of reliable filtration solutions: Traditional cellulose media reinforced with resin covering low particulate efficiency requirements. Synthetic Trinitex® media delivering higher flow and excellent intrinsic mechanical resistance. Premium single-layer and dual-layer glass microfiber media, with full lamination capability.

Delivering a consistent high purity dielectric fluid. The filtration of the dielectric fluid in ElectricalDischarge Machining (EDM) processes is essential for the quality of the finish and the dimensional accuracy of the workpieces to be produced. Ahlstrom offers a complete range of filter mediafor dye-sink and wire-cut EDM applications. Our expertise indesigning and producing high performance liquid filtration media ensures excellent media stability during total filter lifetime. Delivering optimal particulate removal and extended dust holding capacity, providing process reliability and reduced running costs. Ahlstrom`s EDM portfolio includes CellTech EDM media which cover most of the filtration needs of electro-erosion processes.  It also includes Synthetic EDM premium offering which is recommended for most demanding applications.

Disruptor® filter media is a new technology representing an alternative to the use of membranes. Disruptor® has the ability to efficiently remove a wide of harmful contaminants (submicron  particulates, organic acids, virus, bacteria, cysts, cell debris and trace  pharmaceuticals) from water, making it safe to consume. Due to the open media structure, Disruptor® can be used in a very wide range of end uses covering both pressurized water purification systems as well as gravity flow applications. In addition to outstanding pathogen performance products available also with special functionalities such as chlorine removal, heat-sealing, and  antimicrobial treatment for preventing bacteria build-up. The removal of selected trace metals also possible in given pH ranges.

Ahlstrom can recommend the ideal filter grade for use in industrial processes such as: Production of alcoholic, soft drink and fruit juice beverages. Food processing of syrups, cooking oils and shortenings. Metal finishing and other chemical processes. Refinement and separation of petroleum oils and waxes. Our products include grades suitable for general coarse filtration, fine filtration, and retention of specified particle sizes during the clarification of various liquids. We also offer grades that are used as a septum to hold filter aids in plate and frame filter presses or other filtration configurations, to remove low levels of particulate, and many other applications.
