New legislation requires that Carbon Dioxide Storage facilities in the Beverage Industry needs to be safeguarded with a CO2 Detector. Especially for these requirements, Airmet designed a complete package, comprising of an Infrared Carbon Dioxide Detector, two Audible Visual alarms and a Power Supply. Not all situations would require a CO2 Detector. In situations where the storage facilities are outside or are subject to direct ventilation from outside air, detection is not required. The number of cylinders stored with CO2 is not relevant to whether detection should be installed. Even locations with a single bottle of CO2 would require gas detection.

The MX4 iQuad is the latest release in gas detection technology from Industrial Scientific Corporation. The new iQuad is available in 1-4-gas configurations that incorporate oxygen, combustible gas (LEL or CH4) and up to 2 toxic gas sensors which include CO, H2S or NO2.
