The sensors in the air-Q are connected to the air-Q mainboard using a modular system. This means that sensors that have reached the end of their life can easily be replaced. Furthermore, air-Qs can also be upgraded with new additional sensors. Incidentally, the software automatically recognizes which sensors are installed.

The original air-Q USB power adapters and cables are specifically tested for use with the air-Q air analyzer to provide the necessary "clean" Voltage and power supply to ensure optimal accuracy of readings.
