Resilient-seated, butterfly valve for flange mounting to pipelines; concentric disc design; with replaceable liner. Suitable for use in cooling towers, waste-water applications, water treatment, water distribution, dams, gas main and service lines, pressure stations, gas storage tanks, power plants and gas pipelines industry. Double-offset flanged butterfly valve, available with long or short face-to-face length for use in most common flow control applications. Long service life, as the media does not come into contact with the bearing, and due to the wear-resistant, corrosion and infiltration-proof seat with weld overlay. Suitable for use water distribution, water treatment, pre-treated waste water, dams, power plants, industry and pressure management. Size Range : 2.1/2″ to 48″ Standard.

The reinforced rubber ball is the heart of this valve. This ball in the designed path of the valve moves freely and promptly reacts to the ON & OFF of the pump. The ball moves to open position when the pump starts & allows free flow of liquid without any interference. (Fig. A) As the pump stops, the ball seats firmly against the metal seat due to its own weight & back pressure of the liquid (Fig B) This results in DROPLESS sealing.
