Aiviro has been on the market since the early nineties and has been continuously developed ever since. It is now the most extensive Air Quality Management system on the international market with installations in around 80 places world-wide.

Possibility to use OSM maps. The models can now use Synop meteorology (wind, temperature, cloudiness, relative humidity) as input. Included NORTRIP particle resuspension model in EDB for use in EDB search and Gauss model.

Java applets including the maps replaced with JavaScript solutions. Indico Validation, Validate, is now replaced with a Java Web start solution. This means that it is no longer running as an applet in the browser, but as a Java application in a separate window. In a future release, even this will be replaced with a JavaScript solution.

The Indico Administration module allows the users to administrate and configure different aspects of the time series database storage, automatic checks, post processing and data collection.

The Indico Alarm module keeps you informed of the status of your monitoring stations and the data they are collecting.

Indico Data Collection is a high quality collection system that supports many different collection protocols as listed below. It is also easy to add additional protocols, if needed. The data collection is done through a standard modem, GSM modem, radio modem, GPRS technology or TCP/IP.

EDB makes creation, maintenance and use of emission databases an integrated part of the Airviro suit. It is based on a high performance database engine, making it usable for very large amounts of data and demanding computations. Airviro EDB contains tools for handling all types of emission sources.

Dialogs for Airviro emission database access are added to the MS Excel® interface. Just choose import or export, select an emission database in Airviro and the transfer will take place instantly. No difficult commands to get data to and from Airviro, just a few clicks. The transfer of data between MS Excel and Airviro is done directly through the local area network.

Modelling of dispersion of different substances or pollutants in the atmosphere is an important part of the Air Quality Assessment (AQA) and Air Quality Management (AQM) processes. Dispersion modeling is one of the components of the assessment cycle, the other two being monitoring and emissions.
