In addition to our general mechanical engineering services, we offer a bridge repair, new build and design capability. Our work ranges from the repair of railway bridges for Network Rail through to the design and installation of road and pedestrian bridges. Our wide ranging experience with bridge work enables us to provide a complete package of works from remedial to design, fabrication and installation.As part of our portfolio of services, A.J. Engineering can also fabricate and install associated walkways both for bridge work together with general access and stairway requirements for installation within buildings or externally fitted to other structures.

A.J. Engineering & Construction Services Ltd have a highly experienced and skilled workforce including a design team which enables us to carry out high quality steel erection services to meet all customer requirements whether client designed or designed in-house. A.J. Engineering can provide any client with a complete package for steel framed buildings or other internal or external based designs.

A.J. Engineering can also fabricate and install associated walkways both for bridge work and general access and stairway requirements for installation within buildings or externally fitted.

As part of our service packages, we are able to offer a full cladding and roofing panel supply and installation service. Subject to customer requirements, we can install high specification cladding which helps to ensure that the finished project has both low maintenance requirements and outstanding longevity.

Our workshop facilities are well equipped with typical metal forming and general metalwork machinery ranging from Brake Press benders to a 5T overhead crane for large work piece handling.Our fabricators and coded welders are highly experienced and innovative enabling us to engineer challenging projects on behalf of customers. In addition to carbon steel and plate fabrication, our staff is well experienced in working with stainless steel and aluminium.

Safety - As a responsible company accredited to BS OHSAS 18001, A.J. Engineering consider safety to be top priority in all projects and provide all necessary Method Statements, Risk Assessments and associated documentation.In addition, our personnel undergo rigorous, appropriate training in such areas as construction site safety, confined spaces, safety net rigging, water system hygiene and distribution, rail trackside safety, crane operations, access equipment and many other areas. We are also committed to CSCS and CPCS cards for our site operatives allowing major contractors peace of mind when selecting A.J. Engineering as their preferred contractor. Our robust safety systems comply with the requirements of CDM both as Sub or Principal Contractor. We are also members of the British Safety Council among other affiliations.
