Confined space requires special certification. Our staff is certified, and has decades of experience in confined space entry. OSHA identifies a Confined Space as any space with limited openings for entry and exit, unfavorable natural ventilation or is a space not designed for continuous worker occupancy. AKE Environmental & Construction Services, Inc. has the equipment and trained technicians required by law to service sites where one or more of these conditions exist.

This innovative solution for dewatering provides a cost effective solution. The belt press has proven successful in dewatering a wide variety of industrial and municipal sludges. The advantages: Reduction of liquid sludge to a thick cake that is easily transported for disposal by spreading on land or landfill, No “run-off” normally associated with the disposal of liquid sludge.

We always recommend that your pumps are inspected routinely. After all, they have a specific lifespan, measured in hours working, before they need to be replaced. And while pumps can and do go out unexpectedly, we strive to give you a proactive maintenance schedule so that repair and replacement can be a planned event.

We have a fleet of tank trucks ready to serve, with 4000 gallons capacity complete with vacuum loading. Of course, we are available for emergency service – after all we are responsive 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our lab is on site, quality conscious and uses Standard Methods. We also: Handle NPDES permit renewals, Monthly EPA required reporting including annual Sludge Reports, Consumer Confidence Reports as well as Contingency Plans, Total Coliform and Total Chlorine as needed.

Our highly trained technicians using a variety of Cues TV mainline cameras, pusher mini-cameras, and digital recording equipment to perform remote inspections. An invaluable tool, televising determines the origin of the problem, whether it’s cave-ins and broken pipes, obstruction due to roots, grease accumulation or obstructions from other solids.
