Floater Designs Services
Our proven floater designs enable oil and gas production, storage and offloading in the world’s most challenging offshore environments. Aker Solutions designs some of the world’s most advanced semisubmersible drilling and production platforms, floating production storage and offloading vessels and tension-leg platforms for use in deep (1,500 meters) or medium (300 meters) water depths.
Deepwater Riser Solutions
Aker Solutions provides riser solutions for any water depth and any environmental conditions. Subsea risers are developed for transportation of products from the seafloor to production and drilling facilities at the sea surface, as well as from the facility to the seafloor. Whether serving as production or import-export vehicles, risers are the connection between the subsea field developments and drilling and production facilities. Risers can be either rigid or flexible or a combination, namely a hybrid riser system.
Specialist Engineering, Project Management and Procurement Services
Aker Solutions provides customers value-adding services through its deep specialist engineering and procurement competencies and vast experience in managing complex projects. We support our customers throughout the field development phase, providing engineering services from feasibility and concept studies through front end engineering design (FEED) and detail engineering, procurement services and project management. Onshore Receiving and Processing Facilities Design Services
Aker Solutions has designed onshore oil and gas terminals, gas power plants, refineries and petrochemical facilities worldwide. Onshore receiving and processing facilities import, store, process and export oil and natural gas. Aker Solutions designs new onshore facilities, as well as modify existing ones with upgrades, increased capacity, and phasing in of new fields. We also help our customers determine operating windows, improve operating performance and reduce maintenance.
Jacket Designs Services
Aker Solutions offers jacket design services that span from structures installed in shallow waters to large launch-installed deepwater jackets for harsh environments. Jackets are fixed lattice structures made up of steel tubulars pinned to the sea floor, supporting offshore oil and gas production facilities located in water depths up to 300 meters.
