AKTEK Model TP1100M is designed to vent to atmosphere to protect your tank from damage created by over-pressure or excessive vacuum. Costly product evaporation losses due to normal tank `breathing` are greatly reduced. Because the Model TP1100M retains toxic vapours, atmospheric contamination is minimized. This helps to provide increased fire protection and safety.

AKTEK Model TP1200M is used for pressure and vacuum relief where vapours must be piped away. Special pallets in the Model TP1200M housing virtually eliminate the intake of air and the escape of vapours except during normal tank breathing, thus reducing the loss of product and protecting the tank from possible damage. Escaping vapors are piped away through a flanged outlet connection. This helps to provide increased fire protection and safety.

AKTEK Model TP2100M relief valves are designed with inlet and outlet flanges of the same size to reduce installation costs by having smaller downstream piping. Model TP12200M valves are designed for systems requiring only pressure relief. Escaping vapours are piped away through a flanged outlet connection. AKTEK Model TP3300M Vacuum Relief Valve is used when vacuum relief is the only requirement. Intake relief necessary under working conditions is achieved by a spring or weight loaded pallet. The AKTEK Model TP13100M Air Dryer absorbs moisture from the air that is drawn into a storage tank during the unloading of product or by “thermal breathing” conditions. Desiccant of high absorptive capacity is used as the drying agent. The hard ball shaped form of the desiccant minimizes the pressure drop, permitting more efficiency. This is a function of material surface area and retention time. The nature of the desiccant does not change the flow of gas up to the point of maximum saturation since the moisture is absorbed within the pores of the material. The desiccant is contained in a perforated stainless steel basket that can be easily removed for cleaning or maintenance.

The AKTEK Biogas TP16200M Condensate Accumulator is designed permit the removal and storage of liquid condensation from biogas while maintaining system pressure integrity. Condensate is a typical byproduct that forms in the pipeline when the hot, saturated biogas cools as it moves through the piping system. The removal of condensate from the biogas is necessary to keep the gas train running by protecting the downstream equipment and piping from corrosion, blockage and water hammer. AKTEK TP8100M Flame Arrester is designed to inhibit flame and deflagration propagation in gas piping systems and to protect low pressure tanks containing flammable liquids. Arresters protect low flash point liquids from externally caused sources of heat and ignition. This provides increased fire protection and safety.
