Bespoke Pump Design Services
Our experience of designing & manufacturing bespoke high quality, purpose built pumps to satisfy operational, mounting & size/shape requirements is one of our strengths.
Pump Repairs
Full in-house & certain on-site repair work can be carried out on all Albany pumps as well as other manufacturers pumps. Larger pumps in particular are best repaired at our facility. We will typically carry out an inspection where the pump is stripped and assessed, after which repair options will be quoted. This might vary from simply replacement of seals to a complete rebuild of a screw pump, including rebore and manufacture of new bespoke screws. At the end of the exercise, the pump will follow the same test procedure as a new pump, and can be certified to customer’s requirements.
Pump Services
Service can be very important to maintain reliable service from an installed pump. Albany can provide a full programmed maintenance and service contract on many of its pumps in the UK. Typically, customers will request a contract specifying service intervals of six months. This can be varied to suit customer requirements and operating conditions.
Pump Spare
Albany Pumps can normally supply Pump Spares from stock for our current ranges. For Albany Gear pumps, we are often asked to supply spare rotors, shafts and seal kits.
Pump Testing Services
Albany has developed an extensive in house capability for testing pumps, especially positive displacement. We have computerised testing facilities and can cope with a variety of conditions and sizes of pump. We are often asked to carry out special pump tests on our own products and can also offer this service for pumps made elsewhere. Contact us to discuss any such requirement.
