The quality of filter elements is increasingly important, first because the requirements for clean compressed air and technical gases are constantly being raised, and second because awareness of the environment and energy efficiency is always on the increase.

MSS filter housings have been specifically developed for highly efficient removal of solid particles, water, oil, aerosols, hydrocarbons and other vapors from compressed air systems. To meet the required compressed air quality, the appropriate filter element (FG25, FG5, FGA, FGAA, FGAC, FGWS) must be installed into the filter housings.

WSPF welded stainless steel filter housings, with flange connections, have been developed for filtration of compressed air as well as many other gases, where the risk for corrosion is very high or where stainless steel housing are required. To meet the required compressed air quality, the appropriate filter element (FG25, FG5, FG1W, FG1S, FG20W,FG20S, FGA, FGAA, FGAC) must be installed into the filter housing.

A range of absolute rated cartridge filters from Alfafilter® , featuring the latest developments in meltblown polypropylene filter media technology, AlfaKlear cartridges are based on a robust all polypropylene construction, offering removal ratings from 0.5 to 75 micron absolute. The combination of up to eight separate filtration layers provides true depth filtration, within a pleated cartridge construction. This design will reduce fouling of the filter surface area caused by a broad spectrum of contaminants.

The AlfaTrap filter has been specifically developed for the retention of diatomite and polyvinylpolypyrrolidone (PVPP) particles. It is manufactured from materials which are 100% FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved and fully welded for strength and integrity. The all polypropylene construction enables the AlfaTrap filter to be resistant to hot caustic solution and standard CIP practices. It is also compatible with steam and hot water sanitising procedures.
