Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Pipe-Based Screen

AMW - Model Pioneer - Pipe-Based Wire-Wrapped Sand Control Screen

The Pioneer pipe-based, wire-wrapped, all-welded screen provides an economical, reliable and effective method of allowing production fluid to flow into the well while preventing gravel-pack sand from entering. It has been used successfully in deep, high pressure, high temperature and highly deviated wells. The screen can be modified to meet a wide variety of well applications including steam, water flood, water source, injection and waste disposal.

AMW - Model Pioneer TT - Pipe-Based Wire-Wrapped Sand Control Screen

The Pioneer/TT pipe-based, wire-wrapped, all-welded screen is a cost-effective sand control system designed for thru-tubing applications. It has been used successfully in deep, high pressure, high temperature and highly deviated wells. The screen can be modified to meet a wide variety of well applications including steam, water flood, water source, injection and waste disposal.

Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Wildcatter All-Welded Wrap-On Pipe Screen

AMW - Model Wildcatter - All Welded Wrap On Pipe Sand Control Screen

The Wildcatter all-welded wrap-on pipe screen represents an innovative process whereby the wire jacket is shrink-fit to the perforated base pipe. The result is an all-welded, wrap-on pipe screen with the same features and benefits of a conventional slip-on type wire-wrapped screen. Additionally, the process creates a tighter grip between the wire jacket and the base pipe along its entire length, thus increasing collapse strength.

Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Alpha- Rod-Based Screen

AMW - Drive Point Screens

The Drive Point rod-based, wedge-wire wrapped, all welded screen has a large inlet area that allows maximum flow of water from the well. The continuous slot allows more open area than conventional gauze type drive points made on pipe. This large inlet area provides higher flow rates with less drawdown. Easier well development and lower pumping velocity provide less chance of clogging.

Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Prepacked Screens

AMW - Model TM - Dual Pre-Pack Pipe Based Wire Wrapped Sand Control Screen

The Dual Pre-Pack pipe-based, wire-wrapped, all-welded screen eliminates the need to under-ream and gravel pack a well. It consists of a base pipe with two concentric V-shaped wire screens and a 0.25-in. thick (or thicker if required) integral gravel pack. The gauge of the inner and outer jackets is determined by the size and type of gravel pack used. The size and type of gravel pack used is dependent on the formation sands that are to be controlled. The aggregate gravel pack can be resin or non-resin coated. The dual screen provides built-in sand control when gravel packing is not feasible. The Dual Pre-Pack screen should be considered for shallow wells with expected low production rates and thin pay zones. In well-sorted formation sands, other applications are water injection or steam flood workover wells.

AMW - Model TT - Dual Pre Packed Screens

The Dual Pre-Pack/TT pipe-based, wire-wrapped, all-welded screen is a cost-effective sand control system for thru-tubing applications. It consists of a base pipe with two concentric V-shaped wire screens with a 0.084-in. thick integral gravel pack. The aggregate gravel pack can be resin or non- resin coated. The dual screen provides built-in sand control when gravel packing is not feasible. The Dual Pre-Pack/TT screen is specifically designed for thru-tubing applications and should be considered for shallow wells with expected low production rates and thin pay zones. In well- sorted formation sands, other applications are water injection or steam flood workover wells.

Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Premium Diffusion Bonded Screens

AMW - Model ASW / CT - Shrouded Diffusion Bonded Sand Control Screen

The ASW/CT is a premium, damage-tolerant screen featuring enhanced tlow technology and a robust construction designed especially tor thru-tubing or close tolerance (CT) applications. It is capable ot handling the most demanding well completion designs and adverse downhole condilions. The ASW/CT is designed to minimize plugging and head loss. It teatures an erosion-resistant outer shroud and provides highly efficienl How distributions. It is available in several sizes tor thru-tubing applicalions.

AMW - Model Mesh-Tech ASW - Sand Screen

ASW Mesh-Tech screens are produced with an entirely new kind of technology that combines the support core, drainage layers, filter layers and protective outer shroud into a single, unitized screen cartridge. The screen cartridge is then assembled to perforated base pipe for a ready-torun sand control solution. The unitized construction provides mechanical strength for stress and impact resistance. The cartridge design protects all of the inner meshes and affords the additional benefit of holding the meshes together, while large ID/OD ratios improve production efficiency.

Oil & Gas - Wire-Wrapped Screens - Perforated Lines

AMW - Model ASW - Mill Slotted Liners

The ASW Slotted Liner (sometimes called a standalone screen or scab liner) is a robust and cost-effective solution that provides borehole stability and effective sand control in long horizontal completions and low productivity wells. It is also used in Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) applications for effective downhole steam distribution. Slotted liners are manufactured with CNC controlled slotting machines, which can produce a full spectrum of slot designs. Slot widths range from 0.010 in. to 0.250 in. Base pipe diameters range from 1.5 in. up to 18.0 in. Pipe lengths of any size can be slotted.

Water Well -Wire-Wrapped Rod-Based Well Screens

AMW - Model Alpha ASW - Rod Based Wire Wrapped Sand Screens

The Alpha rod-based, wedge-wire wrapped, all-welded sand screen provides more open area than any other well-screen design and allows better access to the entire formation. This screen is very versatile and is easily adapted to many types of industrial and water well applications. The mass of the wrap wire and support rods combined with efficient welding techniques during the manufacturing process dictate the strength and durability of this screen. Our Alpha screens feature an all-welded V-shaped wire that produces a self-cleaning action for greater flow. The manufacturing process includes a sophisticated, electronically controlled fusion-welding process. These screens are custom-built to exact specifications and expected well conditions using a wide range of alloys. They provide maximum flow area, high well efficiencies and superior tensile strength for dependability and long well life.
