Environmental Impact Assessment
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is a systematic process of identifying environmental and social impacts of a project or activity and suggesting mitigation measure to offset or reduce these impacts. we have vast experience in undertaking a wide range of EIA studies for: Oil and Gas, Energy, Mining, Transport, Pipelines, Process industry, Chemical plants, Infrastructure.
Environmental Audit & Monitoring
We also provide environmental audit and monitoring services for construction, operation and decommissioning phases for Regulatory Compliance. The various activities carried out during this process include: Air Emission Monitoring (Point/Non Point Sources); Indoor Air Quality; Noise Levels (ambient and work place ); Evaluation of the chemical storage areas; Environmental Awareness Training; Performance Test Monitoring; and Pollution Control Efficency Test.
Contaminated Site Cleanup
We are the pioneers in contaminated site cleanup and restoration in Oman. We are working with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to cleanup and remediate 60,000 m of contaminated soil in one of the PDO concession areas. The project invloves the following: Delineation of contaminated area. Excavation and treatment of contamianted material. Laboratory testing to verify treatment results. Backfilling of treated material.
Waste Management
Alsafa ETS offers waste management services including hazardous waste management and non-hazardous waste management. We are the first company in Oman to work for the National Waste Management Project through preparing technical specifications and tender documents for the first sanitary landfill in the country. The project involves the following: Baseline Data Validation. Identification of Potential Bidders and Bidder Prequalification. Project Competition and Negotiation. Preparation of Technical Specifications and Tender Documents. Technology Transfer.
Hazardous Waste Management
In the hazardous waste management domain, we are working with PDO for preparing technical specifications for decontamination of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) from the exploration and production (E&P) activities.
