Vaporizers - Water Bath Vaporizers
Model WB-168 THRU WB-508 - Water Bath Vaporizers 08-Series
These models are manufactured with a European-style, high-efficiency, compact power burner. All vaporizer functions are constantly monitored by a Programmable Logic Controller with Ethernet interface (PLC; Siemens S7-1200F or Allen-Bradley MicroLogix-1400), which communicates with a graphic operator interface (HMI; color LCD display with touch screen). The operator interface is used to monitor and display the system status; any failure message will be displayed in plain English; first-outage-monitor (Alarm History) and graphic trend recording are standard. The PLC is installed together with the Honeywell flame safeguard module in the control panel, which is mounted in the vaporizer control room. The full-size, step-in control room is equipped with country-specific receptacles and light fixture.
Model WB-455 THRU WB-5505 - Water Bath Vaporizers 05-Series
These models are manufactured with high-efficiency Maxon Tube-O-Therm (or similar) power burners. An electronic thermostat (Rosemount temperature transmitter) provides Off/low-fire/high-fire burner modulation. The PLC is installed together with the Honeywell flame safeguard module in the control panel, which is mounted in the control room.
General
Liquid Transfer Pumps
LPG Transfer Pumps, as the name implies, are used to transfer LPG from the storage tanks to the vaporizer. In systems with Venturi LPG/air mixing systems, they are also responsible for maintaining the pressure needed for optimum and efficient function of the Venturi tubes. All AES pump packages are mounted on steel skids, and are primed and painted. They are equipped with differential pressure regulator, constant pressure regulator, strainer, isolation valves, by-pass loops ("Summer-Bypass"), liquid filled pressure gauges, and all other components required for safe operation. Smaller pumps up to 12 GPM are single phase AC 115/230V 50/60Hz service. Larger pumps are 3-phase AC 460V 60Hz or 400/415V 50Hz and require magnetic motor starters with overload protection. Pumps up to 18 GPM are direct-drive turbine type (electric motor directly coupled to pump). Larger pumps are belt driven, sliding-vane type.
General - Truck Unload Stations
Truck Unload Stations (TUS)
Truck Unload Stations are used to transfer LPG from supply trucks to the storage tank(s). AES truck unload stations are designed to be anchored in a concrete foundation. They come complete with liquid transfer line and vapor return line. They are equipped with control valves, excess flow valves, vent valves, backcheck valves, and breakaway couplings per NFPA 58. Emergency Shutoff Valves (ESV) with pull cable are standard and pneumatically -operated ESV are available as an option. Cylinder fill stations, i.e. for filling of forklift cylinders, can be supplied separately, or integrated with the truck unload station. AES TUSs can also be equipped with Methanol Injection Systems.
