The model Thermal Technology 2 Learning System (96-TT2) teaches three types of thermal systems: air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat pumps. Students will learn industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, analyze, and adjust these systems.

Amatrol’s Automated Inventory Storage System (87-MS7) is the seventh station of the 870 Mechatronics Learning System and allows learners to gain valuable skills used in inventory storage processes by studying operation, adjustment, and programming of an inventory storage system.. This learning system will allow learners to practice and study operating a programmable parts storage station, adjusting a phototransistor optical interrupter switch, and designing a PLC program that provides manual/auto/reset functions for a programmable parts storage station.

Amatrol’s Portable AC Variable Frequency Drives Troubleshooting Learning System (990-DRV1F) teaches the fundamentals of configuring and operating an AC variable frequency drive. The AC motor drive troubleshooting system includes industry-standard components, such as an Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 4 variable frequency AC drive and a 3-phase AC motor, in a convenient, portable case that can be used virtually anywhere. The system also features FaultPro, Amatrol’s exclusive electronic fault insertion software. FaultPro allows users to learn motor drive troubleshooting skills, such as drive input, motor input, and drive relay troubleshooting. FaultPro allows users to troubleshoot realistic situations they will encounter on the job in industries like packaging, textiles, and paper where rapid motor acceleration and deceleration are required.

Amatrol’s Advanced Pneumatics training covers a diverse range of topics, such as how air bearings, pneumatic motors, and pneumatic cylinders are used to move loads; applications for vacuums such as food packaging, as well as how to measure vacuum levels; and a comprehensive look at air compressors, their components, and how to safely operate them. By taking the approach of melding theory and practice, Amatrol curriculum reinforces both, resulting in a learner that can calculate the theoretical lifting force of a vacuum cup and understand how to select the correct pneumatic motor for a specific task.
