All necessary cells, sensors and electrodes have been enclosed into a single submersible probe designed to withstand water pressures in excess of 20bar corresponding to a practical depth of 200 meters. The probe body and submersible parts are made of AISI316 stainless steel in order to allow safe use also in sea-water and waste waters.

The datalogger is included into a sealed housing (IP56 protection degree), together with the rechargeable battery. A GSM modem or a radiotransmitting device can be installed in the same housing. Should the power supply not be available at the point of installation, the instrument can be powered through a solar collector. A specifically designed program allows to control many Aquamaster monitoring points through a PC. Data are collected and stored on a continuous basis or at programmed intervals and are stored on disk so that they are available to be processed.

The instrument is provided with a BNC connector for pH electrodes, electrodes for measuring redox potential (ORP) or specific ion electrodes (ISE). A socket for 0 4 mm banana plugs is provided for connecting a reference electrode independent of the measuring electrode. Compared to a cable that cannot be detached from the instrument, the BNC offers the advantage of being able to use all the electrodes available on the market an especially those types which for cost reasons do not have a connector directly on the electrode. Furthermore, with the BNC connector it is possible to disconnect the pH measuring cable (ORP, ISE), so that temperature can be measured alone without the electrode connecting cable getting in the way.

The HD 8705 is a combined instrument for taking precise measurements of pH, mV and temperature in the laboratory, on the field and in industrial systems. Various types of electrodes for pH may be connected to the BNC connector, electrodes for measuring the oxidoreduction potential (ORP) or ion specific electrodes (ISE). The temperature probes of the TP870 series are optional (TP870 for immersion, TP870C for contact, TP870A for air, TP870P for penetra-tion). In pH measurements the temperature probe automatically compensates the electrode temperature coefficient. If the temperature pro-be is not connected, manual compensation is automatically enabled (with the "up" A and "down" V keys).

Model HD 8706 is a precise instrument for measuring the electric conductivity of liquids and their temperature. In conductivity measurements, the compensation of the temperature coefficient a Tis automatic with a Tvariable between 0.00%/°C and 4%/°C. The instrument is supplied complete with a conductimetry cell with 4 graphite electrodes (to eliminate polarization effects) and a built-in temperature sensor.

Mod.DO9709 is suitable to receive the input from polarographic Dissolved Oxygen sensors, with 2 or 3 electrodes, including the temperature sensor. The instrument can also be connected to 4 wires Pt100 temperature sensors and includes a barometric pressure sensor for D.O. measure compensation.
