Biodegradable Pulp Products

Pulp is a renewable, biodegradable raw material made from trees. As one of the most versatile materials around, uses for pulp range from the everyday (e.g. tissues, books, and baby wipes) to the more innovative, such as car filters, LCD screens, renewable fuel, and stickers.

Wood Products

Wood is integral to our lives — it builds our homes, furniture, and tall buildings, and also provides decks, flooring, toys, and even kitchenware. AF&PA members use sustainably harvested wood.

Recyclable Paper Products

Paper is all around us — in the card we get from our grandparents, in the LCD TV screen we watch our favorite programming, and in the tissues, paper towels, and paper plates that make our lives easier and more convenient. But paper is more than convenient, it’s also versatile and innovative. Did you know there’s paper — pulp — in our car tires? Diapers? Our clothing? And, just as important, paper products are renewable, recyclable, and sustainable.

Industrial Paperboard Packaging

Paper-based packaging — products like cardboard, paperboard, shipping sacks, and paper bags — is made from renewable resources (recycled paper fiber and trees) that are replanted to ensure a sustainable supply. These products are also the most-recycled materials, by weight, in the United States.

Hygiene Tissue Products

Tissue products provide convenience and improved hygiene, reducing the spread of disease. Made with wood from responsibly-managed forests or recycled paper, our members’ tissue products are sustainable.
