AGS ParkSafe - Control Panel

Gas Detection & Ventilation Control System for Enclosed Garages & Car Parking Facilities

AGS ParkSafe - Carbon Monoxide Gas Detector

12-24V power supply & detector chain data signal; Up to 16 gas detector can be connected in a chain; Modbus RTU compatibility; Test button ensures all configured systems, alarms, indications and other external devices operate as intended; Detector chain ID switches to allow the contractor to arrange each detector per zone; Chain termination resistor switch used at the end of a chain loop; End of Life and Fault notifications when the detector reaches its expected operational lifecycle (CO - 5 years); Sensor UL listed to UL2075.

AGS ParkSafe - Nitrogen Dioxide Gas Detector

12-24V power supply & detector chain data signal; Up to 16 gas detector can be connected in a chain; Modbus RTU compatibility; Test button ensures all configured systems, alarms, indications and other external devices operate as intended; Detector chain ID switches to allow the contractor to arrange each detector per zone; Chain termination resistor switch used at the end of a chain loop; End of Life and Fault notifications when the detector reaches its expected operational lifecycle (NO2 - 2 years); Sensor UL listed to 2075.

Laboratory Utility Controller

Merlin - Model 1000S - Laboratory Utility Controller

The Merlin 1000S Laboratory Utility Controller is designed specifically for use in School and University Laboratories. This panel is to be used to carry out a gas proving test on the pipe work in order to highlight if there is a gas appliance open or a gas leak in the laboratory. The Merlin 1000S is designed to give the teacher full control over the incoming gas supply with the lockable key-switch operation. In built connectivity allows for connection to existing fire alarm and building management systems and with its easy to use system status panel and labeled PCB the Merlin 1000S is easy to install and easy to operate. The Merlin 1000S can work in conjunction with carbon dioxide, natural gas, carbon monoxide and LPG sensors. The Merlin 1000S also has a built in “timeout” facility which will automatically shut off the gas solenoid valve at the end of a specific time period, this time period can be adjusted to 2, 4, 8 hours or can be overridden if required.

Merlin - Model 1000S+ - Laboratory Utility Controller

The Merlin 1000S+ Laboratory Utility Controller is designed specifically for use in School and University Laboratories. This panel is to be used to carry out a gas proving test on the pipe work in order to highlight if there is a gas appliance open or a gas leak in the laboratory. The Merlin 1000S+ is designed to give the teacher full control over the incoming gas supply and bench electrics with the lockable main key-switch and touch sensors. The Merlin 1000S+ can work in conjunction with carbon dioxide, natural gas, carbon monoxide and LPG sensors. The Merlin 1000S+ also has a built in “timeout” facility which will automatically shut off the gas solenoid valve at the end of a specific time period, this time period can be adjusted to 2, 4, 8 hours or can be overridden if required.

Mechanical / Boiler Room Protection

Model CSD-1 - Emergency Shutdown With Gas Detection

If there is a dangerous build-up of gas or unsafe levels of carbon monoxide at the sensor, this device can shut off the gas supply via a gas safety valve and/or a gas fire appliance. A code requirement in Florida, Georgia & Texas. This device has additional features for resetting systems, as well as audible and visual alarms – it can also be integrated with a Building Management System (BMS). For further information on our Mini Merlin refer to our datasheets or alternatively contact our offices today.

Merlin Gas Detector Range

Model AGSNGi - Natural Gas Semiconductor Detector

The AGSNGi is a natural gas semiconductor detector and is typically used as a standalone unit or in conjunction with an AGS controller. The detector should be mounted in accordance with certain considerations. Do not position next to burners, heaters or ovens where temperatures above the room ambient may be experienced. It is, if possible, better to mount the sensors on the opposite wall. This is, of course, dependent on the size of the protected area. Natural gas is lighter than air and will therefore rise, meaning the sensor should be mounted 10 Inches from the Ceiling of the protected area. The Natural gas detector at detection will go into alarm at 10% of the low explosion level. When connected to an AGS controller, this can be used to trigger the isolation of the power supply to a solenoid valve and as such isolation of the gas supply. This can then be rectified by resolving the leak, allowing the sensor head to clear and resetting the attached AGS controller and detector.

Grill, Heater and Decorative Fire Feature Control

Merlin - Model 1000Si - Isolation Utility Controller - Timed Control for Grills / Individual Control over Multiple Appliances

For this solution the Merlin 1000Si is to be used an isolation utility controller that controls the fire pit gas supply through a solenoid valve and interrupts the line voltage to the panel with a digital programmable timer, the AGSPGT7M, providing 7 day automatic control. If either the 1000Si controller is in alarm condition or any of the remote EPO buttons alarm the gas solenoid valve will close and will only re-energize once the fault has been cleared. For additional appliances, a separate digital programmable timer will provide 7 day automatic control over a single or multiple gas solenoid valves.

Gas Detection For Enclosed Parking Structures

AGS ParkSafe - UL Listed Gas Detection and Ventilation Control System

The AGS ParkSafe is a UL Listed gas detection and ventilation control system developed to help you meet IMC 2021 404.1 requirements for enclosed parking garages. It is designed to be paired with the AGS Nitrogen (NO2) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas detectors that can be linked via MODBUS back to the ParkSafe control panel, up to 16 gas detectors per panel can be used in any combination.
