Sewage Control Systems
AMC - Model Simplex Demand - Dose-On-Demand Pump Control Panel with Float Switches
Simplex demand control panels operate single pumps for residential and light commercial dose-on-demand systems. Each unit operates on either one differential float switch or two narrow-angle float switches for pump control plus one narrow-angle float switch for alarm indication. Simplex controls are typically used when economy is desired, and immediate backup is not necessary. Sufficient storage above the alarm float is recommended to allow time for system repair.
AMC - Model Duplex Demand - Dose on Demand Pump Control Panels
Duplex dose on demand panels operate dual pumps for residential and light commercial dose on demand systems. Duplex pump systems are used when immediate backup for a failed pump is desired. If one pump fails, the second pump will activate upon rising water level and provide simplex pump operation until the failed pump is repaired. The amount of storage above the alarm may be reduced since the second pump is readily available. Pumps are alternated as lead pump after each pumping cycle to provide even pump wear. Each pump operates on either two floats (one differential, one narrow-angle) or three floats (narrow-angle) switches for pump control, plus one (narrow-angle) float switch for alarm indication. Alarm indication may be combined with lag pump float switch for immediate pump failure notification or separated for applications where heavy flows are expected and not desired to be alarmed.
Controls for Water & Wastewater Systems - Potable Water System
AMC - Model P-Series - Pre-Charge Pump Controls Panel
The “P” series pump control panel shall be equipped with three pressure switches to automatically control the pre-charged tank’s water pressure level and two liquid level relays for low well cut-off. As water is removed from the tank, the pressure will drop until it reaches the “Lead Pump On” setpoint on Pressure Switch No. 1. The lead well pump will activate and continue to run until the pressure reaches the “Pumps Off” setpoint on Pressure Switch No. 1, at which time the pump will cut off. The control will then alternate the lead pump. If the pressure continues to drop and reaches the “Lag Pump On” setpoint on Pressure Switch No. 2, the lag pump will activate, and both pumps will continue to run until the pressure reaches the “Pumps Off” setpoint again on Pressure Switch No. 1.
AMC - Model H-Series - Hydro-Pneumatic Pump Controls Panel
The “H” series pump control panel is equipped with pressure switches and liquid level relays to automatically control the air-water ratio within the hydro-pneumatic tank.
AMC - Model S-Series - Storage Tank Controls Panels
The “S” series pump control panel shall be equipped with four solid-state low voltage liquid level relays to automatically control the storage tank’s water level. As water is removed from the tank, the liquid level will drop until it reaches the “Lead Pump On” (third from top) electrode. The lead well pump will activate and continue to run until the liquid level reaches the “Pumps Off” (second from top) electrode, at which time the pump will cut off. The control will then alternate the lead pump. If the liquid level continues to drop and reaches the “Lag Pump On” (fourth from top) electrode, the lag pump will activate, and both pumps will continue to run until the liquid level reaches the “Pumps Off” electrode again.
Drip Dispersal System Controls
AMC - Model Perc-Rite - Residential Drip Dispersal Controls Panels
American drip dispersal process controls are based on the Perc-Rite® patented operating sequence. Panels are available as Simplex or Duplex that operate on a single or multi-zone configuration. Drip controls provide flow equalization with peak flow management and are designed on a repeat cycle timer basis. When a float signal tells the control panel there is enough water to begin a dose, the timer cycles between a rest time (off time) and a run time (pump on time). Hand-Off-Auto (H-O-A) switches allow manual operation of the system. The control provides limitless flexibility and can be used with either three or four float switches. All American drip controls automatically control flushing of the drip tubing and filters.
Controls for Water & Wastewater Systems - Custom Controls Integration
AMC - Model MET Series - Multiplex Pump & Valve Controls Panel
Multiplex systems are ideal for managing and monitoring the daily flow of wastewater in larger commercial and industrial systems. These controls contain many of the same features found in the simplex and duplex systems, but are typically microprocessor-controlled to allow for greater flexibility.
Perc-Rite - Drip Dispersal Systems
AMC - Model Perc-Rite-15 GPM– 25 GPM - Light Commercial Drip Dispersal System
Perc-Rite Light Commercial 15 GPM– 25 GPM drip dispersal systems provide the most flexible and economical system to return treated wastewater to the environment for final polishing and beneficial reuse.
AMC - Model Perc-Rite - Residential High Head Submersible Pump
A high head submersible pump installed inside a Coolguide delivers effluent to the filtration unit. To minimize operational costs, the disc filters automatically backflush at the beginning of each dose and periodically during dosing. Accumulated solids from the filters are returned to the pretreatment unit.
AMC - Model Perc-Rite - Commercial Drip Dispersal Systems
Perc-Rite drip dispersal systems provide the most flexible and economical system to return treated wastewater to the environment for final polishing and beneficial reuse.
