American Pulverizer`s Automobile Hammermill Shredders are built for today`s rigorous shredding demands. Units range in size depending on capacity. Our 60 series shredders handle anywhere from 20–70 TPH of scrap. Heavier-duty shredders like our 80x104, 98x104, and 130x118 handle up to 250 TPH.

American Pulverizer Hammermills offer flexibility, uniform reduction, and economical operation. Hammers are reversible—with two or more crushing surfaces for extended life. As hammer design depends upon the type of work done by the crusher, American hammers are skillfully designed to contribute the greatest efficiency to achieving customers` requirements. Hammer material can be cast or forged manganese, cast alloy steel, cast white iron, or fabricated from high alloy plate (360–500 Brinell).

American Pulverizer Ringmills utilize an exclusive rolling ring design that is the most efficient crushing element ever developed to reduce material to uniform size. Each ring freely rotates on the shaft and is held in its outward position by centrifugal force. This process reduces by impact rather than sharpness and is free to deflect from tramp metal. Rings are reversible for double wear.

The American Pulverizer Double Roll Crusher is ideal for primary and secondary reduction of ROM coal, washed coal, middlings, screenings, slag, moist clay, limestone, cement, potash, rock, sulfur, lignite, pyrite, and other materials where minimum fines are required. American Pulverizer brings over a century of experience to the design, performance, and capacity of these machines to provide unmatched product control with dependable operating efficiency, minimum maintenance, and long service life.

American Pulverizer Granulators are capable of shredding and granulating plastic for recycling, scrap rubber, pre-shredded tires, phone cable, and much more. They are designed for grinding waste polymeric materials to sizes needed for consequent processing. Material is fed through the feed opening to the inner part of the machine where it falls between the high speed turning rotor knives and the fixed, adjustable stator knives. The production rate depends on the kind of material and size of the cage screen openings. Rotor knives, made of chrome-vanadium steel, are fixed on the shaft.

WBH series Top Feed Wood/Bark Hogs are available in 30", 36", 42", 48", and 60" diameters with widths from 36" through 104". Capacities range from 1 to 150 TPH depending on the material to be reduced, infeed size, and finished product size. Each WBH machine is furnished with heavy-duty spherical roller bearings mounted in split steel housings with shim pads underneath each bearing mount. This allows for removal of the bearing without displacing the rotor assembly from the hog. Units can be furnished with air pans and additional accessories such as a fan blower and ductwork.

American Pulverizer Horizontal Shaft Impactors are primary and secondary impact crushers. They are available in 20 sizes with rotor dimensions from 12" to 72" and feed openings from 7½" x 12½" to 42" x 84". Throughput capacity can vary from 25 TPH to 1000 TPH depending on the crusher model and material characteristics. They also accept feed sizes up to 24" and generate a cubical product from 0 to 4".

American Pulverizer`s Low-Speed High-Torque Shredders are designed to deliver the highest torque using lower speeds with the least amount of horsepower. They are ideal for the efficient reduction of municipal solid waste, hot water heaters, plastic, aluminum scrap, ferrous scrap, wood, cable, tires, hazardous waste, washers, dryers, and more. Their unique design reduces vibration, noise, dust, energy costs, maintenance, explosion liability and even installation costs.

The American Pulverizer VFG Series Cocoa Grinder is a specially developed machine for the production of super fine products. It is designed to reduce lumps of cocoa cake to a 99.7% passing 200-mesh size. The capacity of this system is 1500–2500 pounds per hour. The high throughput of air and effective air circulation allows very fine grinding, especially for products extremely sensitive to heat.
