Amerlab - Acid Cleaner (Acid Steam Cleaning System)
Clean labware is essential for trace metal analysis. Traditional cleaning procedures of glassware and other labware with nitric acid such as acid soaking and microwave cleaning can be time-consuming and yield less-than-ideal results. With Acid Ultra Cleaning, we are pleased to offer today`s lab technician a better solution. Acid Ultra Cleaner, also known as Acid Steam Cleaning System or Trace Cleaning System, uses acid vapor to clean the microwave digestion liners in a sealed chamber. Through a built-in temperature-control heating system, all trace metal contaminants soluble in acid can be safely and efficiently removed by acid vapor. The used acid will then be drained from the chamber to prevent the extracted contaminants from being reintroduced to the cleaned vessels.Amerlab - Acid Purifier (Acid Purification System)
The purity of acid is substantially important in trace-element and ultra-trace element analysis. The higher the purity, the lower the background. Commercial high-purity acid is not only super expensive, but the purity drops after coming in contact with air. The acid purification process is the most economical method for high-purity acid production. Our Acid Purifier, known as Acid Purification System or Acid Distillation System, uses the sub-boiling technique to ensure a high purity acid vapor is produced, which then condenses to the desired high-purity acid widely used in AAS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AFS and other spectroscopy analysis.Heater System
A PTC (Positive temperature coefficient of resistance) refers to materials that experience an increase in electrical resistance when their temperature is raised. Materials which have useful engineering applications usually show a relatively rapid increase with temperature, i.e. a higher coefficient. The higher the coefficient, the greater an increase in electrical resistance for a given temperature increase. A PTC material can be designed to reach a maximum temperature for a given input voltage, since at some point any further increase in temperature would be met with greater electrical resistance. Unlike linear resistance heating or NTC materials, PTC materials are inherently self-limiting.
Technology
Real Temperature Control (RTC) Technology
Visual Check & Manual Adjustment: Constant direct visual check is needed. Direct observation is not possible with the nontransparent PTFE. Frequent manual adjustment of heating power is required to avoid boiling. The efficiency is sacrificed at 5-20 mL/hr due to the limited heating power.
One-Way Vapor (OWV) Technology
One-Way Vapor (OWV) ensures that the used acid is discharged directly from the system and does not return to the acid reservoir to cause secondary contamination.
