Ames Goldsmith is a world leader in Ethylene Oxide (EO) catalyst refining market. We are an approved reclamation provider for all major ethylene catalyst manufacturers in handling their products and spent catalyst. We have a long history on working with all EO producers and users from all over the world to refine their silver containing catalyst. In addition, Ames provides silver reclamation from high grade silver bearing scrap and high grade silver solutions.
Spent Ethylene Oxide Catalyst
Total EO refining capacity in North America between the three factories is over 1,000,000 pounds of EO catalyst a month with additional available capacity in Tainan, Taiwan. We strive to maximize recovery of silver from EO catalyst. We are able to refine the metal with a minimum purity guarantee of 99.9%. We are able to provide assistance and guidance with shipping documents, estimation on costs for transport, and customs fees. Once recovered, the client’s silver can be returned to a multitude of locations.
