The new series of granulators ZERMA to GSL GSL 150/150 150/350 were specifically developed as a low speed for lighter applications from the injection area. In addition to the known advantages of low speed, such as low noise and virtually dust-free grinding material, are distinguished from these mills of its special blades, rotor and Quick-Snap system, as well as their easy accessibility for maintenance and cleaning.

The slow-speed granulators in the ZERMA GSL range from 180/120 to 180/430 have been specially developed as slow-running grinders for applications in the injection-molding sector.

Newly designed more aggresive infeed The rotor and cutting chamber of the GSL 200 series have be re-designed, creating a more aggressive in-feed for hollow parts, such as bottles or other blow moulded parts. The increased cutting chamber dimensions make feeding of larger runners possible, thus making the GSL 200 series a very versatile machine.

The heavy duty granulators of the GSH 350 and 800 series offer a wide array of different rotor designs with widths ranging from 500 mm to 1000 mm with a diameter of 350 and 500 mm respectively. Rotor bearings, knife mounts and rotor shaft are oversized.The standard V-cut creates a high quality regrind with a very low percentage of fines in the output material. The removable third stator blade is acting as a deflector wedge and allows the machine to be quickly adjusted to different application scenarios. Other standard features include easily replaceable wear plates in the cutting chamber as well as outboard bearings reducing the risk of contamination.

The material to be pulverized is introduced through the centre of a vertical fixed grinding disc which is mounted concentrically with an identical high speed rotating disc. Centrifugal force carries the material through the grinding area and the resultant powder is collected with a blower and cyclone system. The ZERMA PM series have several technical advantages which ensure ideal performance and operation.

The machines provide an easy and cost effective alternative to the larger single shaft shredder of the ZSS series. The ZBS series was specifically developed for the crushing of lumps in the waste molding and blow molding as a pre-shredder for interaction with a cutting mill.
