Continuing to bring innovation to the sanitary pump market, Ampco Pumps has enhanced the traditional design of the popular ZP1 pump with the patented ZP1+ positive displacement pump. This advanced design changes the position of the dynamic O-ring for better performance and faster maintenance. The ZP1+ dynamic O-rings can be changed without removing the body or disconnecting the pump from the piping system, providing simple maintenance and increased production times. The one piece sleeve design seals the pump if the rotors are removed for CIP processing.

The ZP2 Series with its stainless steel gearcase, like all Ampco positive displacement pumps, is built for CIP-ability with enclosed rotor nuts. It is designed to withstand higher pressures with its larger 17-4ph stainless steel shafts. In fact, the ZP2 is capable of withstanding pressures of up to 500 PSI and is 3A Certified.

The Ampco AC/AC+ Series of centrifugal pumps continue to lead the category in reliability and durability. The AC/AC+ features a simple and easy to maintain sanitary design. The LC Series is cast and machined from 316L stainless steel and offers a 304 stainless steel adapter – always standard. Manufactured using heavy wall construction for durability, LC pumps are commonly used for gentle and efficient applications, such as beverage and dairy. Ampco’s LC Series is dimensionally and hydraulically interchangeable with most competing brands. The internal seal design, along with the dynamically balanced impeller, allows the LC smooth quiet operation while extending seal longevity.

Ampco’s heavy duty, high efficiency Z Series pumps with 150# ANSI flanges are available from stock in three alloys – nickel aluminum bronze, 316 stainless steel and duplex 2205 stainless steel.  These close-coupled pumps are designed for JM motor frames and offer flows up to 3000 GPM.  Our application engineers will help select the right alloy for your application.  All Z Series pumps have ABS design approval.
