AMS static environmental sampling systems are typically used in emission stacks and ducting. Designed as stand-alone cubicles, a complete range of engineering services from initial survey through to design, build, installation and commissioning can be undertaken.

AMS’s portable samplers are self-contained sampling systems used for capturing tritiated water from the surrounding atmosphere or from HVAC ducts. They consist of a robust aluminium carry case that contains both the sampling equipment and the sample collection bottle and are designed for use in a semi-portable mode being powered via 110VAC removable flying cable.

Sometimes referred to as Total Oxidation Units (TOU), these mobile samplers oxidize the sample gas within a reaction tube in a heated environment before flowing through, up to three, bubbler sample bottles. The sample pressure and temperature is displayed along with the mass flow rate and total for data gathering by operators. To enhance longevity, Type N thermocouples are used to control the furnace temperature and provide over-temperature protection.
