Integrated Circuits - Battery-Powered Motor Driver ICs
TRINAMIC - Low Voltage Stepper Motor Driver
The TMC2300 low voltage stepper motor driver is intended for battery-operated, space and standby-power critical driver applications. Its silent drive technology StealthChop™ enables non-bugging motion control for portable, home and office applications. A highly efficient power stage, boosted by an internal charge pump for best in-class RDSon resistance, provides high motor current from a tiny package even at low supply voltages. With this, dual AA batteries can be drained down to typically 2.0V (voltage must not drop below 1.8V, provide sufficient supply buffer capacitors).
A/D Converters (ADC) - Integrated/Special Purpose A/D Converters - A/D and D/A Converter Combinations
ADI - Single-Channel, Software Configurable Input and Output
The AD74115 is a versatile single-channel, software-configurable input and output device tailored for industrial control applications. It features multiple functionalities integrated into one chip, including analog output, analog input, digital output, digital input, resistance temperature detector (RTD), and thermocouple measurement capabilities. Communication is handled via a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), with digital inputs and outputs accessible through either SPI or GPIO pins to support higher speed data rates. The device boasts a 16-bit sigma-delta ADC and a 14-bit DAC, with a highly accurate 2.5V on-chip reference that serves both DAC and ADC. When paired with the ADP1034 power management unit, the AD74115 offers programmable power control on the positive analog supply (AVDD), optimizing power solutions for end applications. It also includes an on-chip charge pump for unipolar operations, enhancing its adaptability for various industrial control scenarios. The AD74115 is the go-to solution for engineers looking for integrated, high-precision control systems.
