The reagent reservoirs with automated filling are designed for the storage of liquids, such as buffers or DMSO. The inflow is performed by a peristaltic pump, which can be attached to an external module or a stacker. Special reservoirs are separated into different divisions in rows or columns. In this way, different reagents can be stored at the same time. The reservoirs are equipped with a level sensor and baffles. The CyBio system for heating and orbital mixing of reagents is the fully automated solution for incubating and denaturation of substances in the temperature range from ambient to 99 °C. An optimum heat transfer is realized through specific plate adapters, furthermore the Edge Locking Mechanism (ELM) guarantees the repeatable and accurate positioning of microplates. Controlled via RS232 and a CyBio Composer software plug-in, the system provides a high temperature consistency within 1 °C and allows the fast and homogeneous heating of samples within the whole microplate.

The novel barcode labeler CyBio QuadPrint sets higher standards in high speed microplate labeling. It features a very small footprint, flexible labeling on all four sides of the microplate as well as an automatic label height adjustment.

The CyBio system for passive cooling of reagents is the automated solution for the safe and comfortable handling of temperature sensitive reagents. This system secures the temperature stability of enzymes, proteins and aqueous solutions in temperature sensitive assays. By means of the passive cooling solution it is possible to maintain the temperature range from 4 °C to 14 °C over a period of approx. 36 min.

Microplate adapters enable the integration of almost all third party microplates into CyBio instruments. Furthermore, CyBio also offers adapters for specific application needs.

The wash stations actively flush pipette tips inside and out, tips in the 96 and 384 format can be washed automatically with pump-supported (active) inflow and drain. This results in a considerably reduced requirement of disposables. The inflow and drain of the liquids is performed by peristaltic pumps, which can be attached to an external module or a stacker.
