Andersen’s EOGas 3 system links our unique gas diffusion technology with advanced micro-processor control. The micro-processor keeps track of the bags in the sterilizer, and the operator may load new bags or unload finished bags while others are in process. For tracking purposes, when a bag is loaded, two labels are printed: one is placed in the log book, one is placed on the bag. Unique multi-load capabilities eliminate batch load restrictions. Easy installation requires no compressed air or water source, only a dedicated outside vent and a single-phase AC outlet. Both EOGas 3 sterilizers use a 35  liter sterilization liner bag and 11 gram EO cartridge.

Andersen’s emissions abators are designed to remove more than 99% of the ethylene oxide emitted from our sterilizers. When combined with any Andersen sterilizer, our award-winning gas abatement equipment releases a fraction of a gram of EO per cycle, and less than a pound of total emissions per year, effectively making the process zero emissions. Both abators employ a dry catalyst resin that converts ethylene oxide to biodegradable organic compounds. Our systems are recognized for using a microdose of ethylene oxide and our emissions fall well below all federal guidelines. If you choose to abate, remember we have this option for you.

Self-contained Biological Indicators (BI’s) provide sterility assurance for EO cycles. EZTest® contains a high population (10⁶) of B. athrophaeus ? sterilization-resistant bacterial spores ? on a filter-paper carrier packaged within a small, thermoplastic culture tube. 

The AN1072 Humiditube™, developed to hold the Humidichip during the sterilization cycle, allows air to circulate around the chip – ensuring appropriate Relative Humidity. The Humiditube is reusable. Note: The EOGas 4 has an alternate method for holding the Humidichip.

Designed specifically for use with Andersen Anprolene® and EOGas™ Sterilizer Systems, this unique device ensures adequate Relative Humidity (RH) within the sterilization liner bag during the sterilization cycle. Each single-use pre-moistened 2″ x 2″ Humidichip releases up to 4 grams of water vapor. Employ Humidchip® with a Humiditube™ in each sterilization cycle. Ensures RH requirements for sterilization are met. Prevents oversaturation.

This easy-to-use tape features chemical indicator lines that show a strong, sharp color change after exposure to ethylene oxide (EO). Allows visual identification of pre/post-sterilized packs from across the room. Tape surface can be written on with indelible ink without smearing or bleeding.
