Andersson Stair Screen ASS is a mechanical ”moving bar” fine screen that separates debrie and rubbish from water. Moving bar step type fine screens has unique capabilities: A 1-6mm Stair Screen can replace a 10-30mm coarse screen in an existing open channel while maintaining the same low headloss, without any need for pre screening. Stair Screen ASS is totally self cleaning without flushing or brushes. This gives unrivalled capacity, result and total economy.

Progressive Stair Screen PSS is a mechanical ”moving bar” fine screen that separates debrie and rubbish from water. Progressive Stair Screen PSS is a further development of the Andersson Stair Screen ASS concept where its progressive motion and progressive stair shape enhances the screenings capture. This is thanks to the PSS lower lifting motion under water which increases the mat support from the back during lifting which prevents screenings from being squeezed through during lifting. The lower lifting motion under water also gives the ability to seal the bottom step which prevents the rush of water through there during lifting. These 2 points enables >80-90% capture on a 1-3mm PSS.

Through Flow Screen TFS separates solids (screenings, rubbish) from water. A band of linked perforated or mesh panels filters the water. Separated material is conveyed upwards and gets brushed/flushed off at the discharge point. The optional brush and a cleaning system keeps the perforations from clogging.

Spiral Sieve Screen SSS separates, washes & dewaters solids (screenings, rubbish) from water. A rotating spiral with a periferal brush cleans a screen basket. Available with or without integrated wash compactor. Concrete channel or freestanding steel tank mount.

Chain Rake Screen CRS is a modern mechanically raked ”multi rake” coarse automatic bar screen that separates debrie and rubbish from water. It is used in pumping stations, water intakes, headworks screen at waste water treatment plants. Conveyor chain drive with multiple rakes gives fast cleaning cycles for high flow and conveying capabilities.

Wire Rake Screen WRS is a modern mechanically raked ”cable rake” coarse automatic bar screen that separates debrie and rubbish from water. It is used in pumping stations, water intakes, headworks screen at waste water treatment plants. Wire rope cable drive with big rake and steep inclination enables deep compact installations with high flow and good conveying capabilities for big objects.

Spiral Screw Conveyor SSC conveys screenings, sludge, sand, waste. Available with drainage sections and dewatering/compaction zone for screenings and wet waste. Also pipe trough conveyor design. The rotation of the spiral combined with the materials friction in the trough gives forward movement. The drive can be pushing or pulling with shaftlless spiral or shafted screw. The wear lining is low friction plastic or wear steel bars. We recommend thick spiral wound shaftless spirals whos weight and wear is distributed along the whole trough length. This is generallly better than thin flighted segment welded shafted screws which risks point wear and often requires an end supporting bearing.

Wash Press Compactor WPC is a screw press for washing, compaction och conveying of screenings and wet waste. WPC forces the material into a pipe system and can be combined with Back Pressure Shredder BPS which gives heavy mechanical agitation for high washing, compaction and dewatering. The screw flights gives a pulsating treatment of smaller portions which also increases washing, dewatering, & compaction. WPC has 15-30mm screw flight thickness in the transport zone and 30-60mm in the wash compaction zone. WPC often has double the thickness, strength and wear capabilities compared with others. We recommend spiral wound steel screw rather segment welded stainless flights due to double thickness and much higher wear resistance. WPC has stainless steel high quality valves as standard where others use brass.

Back Pressure Shredder BPS is an accessory for Wash Press Compactor WPC and other equipment. BPS gives maximum washing and compaction due to heavy mechanical crushing agitation and controlled retention in the compactor. This is much more efficient than impeller tank pre washing systems. BPS can be installed vertical, horisontal or angled. At the end or the beginning of a pipe system.

Grit Washer Classifier GWC separates, washes & dewaters sand from water. Street sand, filter sand and similar materials can be handled. The sand/water mix is pumped or fed into the separation tank where sand settles to the washing zone and is mechanically agitated and washed. After washing the screw conveyor dewaters & conveys the sand. Excess water during pumping flows out over a weir and is led out. The organic material is led out separately or through the same outlet.
