Anguil - Emission Concentrator
The Anguil Emission Concentrator is an adsorption system designed to concentrate large volume, low concentration process exhaust into a much smaller, higher concentrated air stream. The greatly reduced flow with higher Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) concentration is sent to a thermal or catalytic oxidizer for VOC destruction. The destruction device can then be much smaller in size, significantly reducing capital cost. The resultant higher VOC concentration controlled in the smaller abatement equipment minimizes auxiliary fuel consumption.
Anguil - Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs)
Widely considered to be the most energy-efficient oxidizer, Anguil`s Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) uses ceramic media to recover upwards of 97% of the available energy. What makes our RTO so popular is its ability to repurpose the thermal energy generated during operation to reduce operating costs and energy consumption of the system itself. The regenerative component makes it capable of fuel-free operation at very low VOC concentrations.
Anguil - Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizers (RCOs)
When catalyst is added to the media chambers of an RTO it is then referred to as an RCO. The abatement device still relies on high energy recovery to minimize auxiliary energy usage. However, the VOC compounds will oxidize at lower temperatures with the use of catalyst, further lowering the need for auxiliary energy. This is a great option for catalyst friendly compounds. Multiple catalyst and ceramic media options are available.
Anguil - Catalytic Recuperative Oxidizer (CATOX)
The Anguil Catalytic Recuperative Oxidizer destroys Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odorous emissions at significantly lower temperatures than thermal oxidation technologies through the use of catalyst.
Anguil - Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizer (DFTO)
The Anguil Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizer (DFTO) thermally destroys Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odorous emissions often discharged from industrial exhaust stacks or chemical processes. It is an ideal abatement technology for process streams heavily laden with pollutants or intermittent batch processes where the oxidizer can come on-line relatively quickly. With a flexible and user-friendly design, the Anguil DFTO offers low capital cost with high destruction efficiency and reliable operation.
Anguil - Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer (TRO)
The Anguil Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer destroys Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and odorous emissions discharged from various industrial processes using thermal oxidation and heat recovery. Anguil’s thermal recuperative oxidizers incorporate flexible heat exchanger arrangements, from cleanable tubes ideal for applications with particulates, to shell side exposure combined with soot blowers for silicone dioxide (SiO2) applications. The heat exchanger also minimizes the system’s fuel consumption with the system being self-sustaining at moderate Lower Explosive Limits (LELs).
Anguil - Vapor Combustor Unit (VCU)
Anguil’s Vapor Combustion Unit combines the simplicity of an enclosed flare with the destruction performance of a thermal oxidizer. Whether designed for intermittent use or installed on a continuous emission stream; the Anguil VCU technology has many advantages over other enclosed combustion systems. It is a robust device capable of handling varying emission flow rates and concentration changes.
Anguil LoCarb - Alternative Fuel Oxidizers
Anguil has decades of experience supplying alternative heating methods for oxidizer technologies. While the electrically heated Catalytic Recuperative Oxidizer (CATOX) is well established and widely applied, the industry has been slower to integrate lower carbon components like electric heating elements and hydrogen-fueled burners into the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO), Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizer (DFTO), and Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer. Thankfully, Anguil is at the forefront of low-carbon (LoCarb) oxidation solutions with established designs and scalable options for both thermal and catalytic oxidizers.

Anguil - Emission Capture - Permanent Total Enclosures (PTE)
Permanent Total Enclosures (PTEs) provide numerous advantages for manufacturers who paint, spray, coat or apply solvent based materials to their product. The primary function is to provide 100% capture of all fugitive over-spray of harmful air pollutants used within the enclosure, maximizing the capture and control efficiency of the facility. This results in fewer uncontrolled emissions being released to the atmosphere and compliance with most government regulations for indoor air quality. The PTE also reduces routine capture efficiency testing costs and provides a cleaner, healthier work environment in the rest of the production facility through better capture and noise containment.
