Foam Concentrates & Equipment - Foam Concentrates & Agents - Non-Fluorinated Class B Foams

ANSUL - Non-Fluorinated AR-SFFF Foam Agents

Non-fluorinated, alcohol resistant foam concentrates for use on both hydrocarbon and polar solvent flammable liquids. Alcohol Resistant Synthetic Fluorine Free Foam (AR-SFFF) Concentrates are non-fluorinated foam formulations designed for use on Class B flammable liquid fires. AR-SFFFs provide effective fire and vapor suppression for both hydrocarbon and polar solvents fuel fires. AR-SFFF products may be proportioned and discharged with a wide range of conventional foam equipment in both fixed system and response applications.

Foam Concentrates & Equipment - Foam Concentrates & Agents - Non-Fluorinated Class A Foams

ANSUL - Class A Foam Agents

Foam concentrates to combat Class A combustible material fires. Class A foams are well-suited for response firefighting of structural, wildland, and industrial fires that involve ordinary combustible materials such as wood, paper, coal, rubber, and plastic. They are formulated to reduce the surface tension of water to provide superior wetting and penetrating characteristics, while also creating a dense foam blanket that provides an insulating barrier between the fuel and the air.

Foam Concentrates & Equipment - Foam Concentrates & Agents - Non-Fluorinated High-Expansion

ANSUL - High-Expansion Foam Agents

Foam Concentrates with expansion ratios up to 1000:1 for suppression of Class A and Class B fire in large volume spaces. High-Expansion foam concentrates produce flexible firefighting foams for suppression of Class A and Class B fires in large-volume spaces such as aircraft hangars or warehouse storage. When discharged through well-designed high-expansion generators, these foams can achieve expansion ratios up to 1000:1, rapidly forming substantial volumes that contain minimal water. These foams can quickly fill over-sized rooms and enclosures, effectively suppressing horizontal and vertical (three-dimensional) fires while minimizing water damage. High-Expansion foams are also used to protect outdoor LNG storage areas, where they can quickly blanket the flammable liquid surface for fire and vapor suppression.

Foam Concentrates & Equipment - Foam Concentrates & Agents - Specialty Foams & Agents

ANSUL - Dry Chemical Agents

Dry agents with excellent, small-scale fire suppression performance. Dry chemical agents may be used to combat Class B flammable liquid, gas, and grease fires as well as Class C fires involving energized electrical equipment. Dry chemical agents are compatible with most foam concentrates and are typically used in conjunction with firefighting foam when a twin-agent approach is optimal for hazard suppression.

ANSUL - Training Foams

Foam simulates concentrate proportioing and application for training (non-firefighting) purposes. Training Foams provide firefighters the ability to conduct training exercises with their own foam proportioning and discharge equipment without using active fire suppression foam.
