Anthracite Filter Mediais thoroughly selected from anthracite which yields the highest percentage of carbon. It is then hydraulically classified to reduce mineral matter and ash to a minimum, and finally screened and washed to ensure suitability for filtration purposes.

Filter Sandsare a naturally occurring minerals. They are mined, washed, dried, screened and sized to meet the stringent requirements for water and wastewater filtrations. Our materials meet or exceed the AWWA-B100 and the ANSI/NSF-61 Standards.

Filter Gravelsare mined from high quality aggregate reserves with high hardness physical properties. Thereby making them suitable for extended use with the water and wastewater filtration plants without deteriorations. Our filter gravels meet or exceed the AWWA-B100 and ANSI/NSF-61 Standards.

Garnetis a naturally occuring gem mineral with uniform physical, chemical, hardness, friability and micro-structure characteristics, which provide the essential properties for filtration and other industrial uses. Applications range from small, single-media filters to technically advanced multimedia commercial and industrial systems.

Bone Charis a black, granular solid obtained by calcining cattle bones. Through the calcining process crushed bone is stripped clean leaving carbon and tricalcium phosphate. Bone char has proven to be a valuable filtering media in the purification of sugar syrups, removing dissolved contaminants from aquarium water and removing fluoride from water. Bone char also has a high adsorptive capacity for lead, mercury and arsenic.

Activated Carbon 8x30 and 12x40are made from selected grade of bituminous coal. They are produced under rigidly controlled conditions and have a good distribution of macropores and micropores. Consequently, they are highly suitable for use in water treatment.

CHAR-CARB Activated Granular Carbonis made from selected coconut shells to insure positive quality control during the manufacturing process. Virgin raw material is activated thermally in a rotary kiln steam atmosphere. By maintaining strict quality control standards, high adsorption of odors and other contaminates from occupied air space can be achieved. CHAR-CARB can also be effectively used in most liquid phase applications to remove odors, tastes, chemicals and organic compounds.

ThePelletized Carbonis a cylindrical-shaped carbon made from a carefully selected grade of coal. It is pelletized under rigidly controlled conditions using a high quality binder. This activated carbon possesses high mechanical strength and lends itself well to numerous cycles of regeneration. Its shape offers a low flow resistance.
