Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Light Drilling Rigs
APAFOR - Portable Lightweight Drilling Rig
The Apafor® 220 DMT portable/dismantle is a modular drilling rig composed of 6 portable components, the majority of which are made of aluminium. Ultra-light and easily disassembled, this drilling rig allows to work in very difficult site access and is also perfect for work in confined spaces. Each element can be carried by 2 operators. Thanks to its configuration, such as its various removable and interchangeable drilling heads, this drilling rig can perform the various conventional drilling methods in both vertical and inclined positions. Its adjustable stabilization feet allow to work in sloping areas. The machine is equipped with a height-adjustable control panel for an ergonomic working position for every operator.
Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Compact Drilling Rigs
APAFOR - Compact Drilling Rigs
The Apafor® 230 is a small, yet extremely versatile drilling rig that offers high performance far beyond similar models. It is the perfect drilling rig for geotechnical investigations at a depth of about 30 metres, and even more depending on diameter. It can carry out all types of drilling methods: rotary injection, off-hole rotary percussion, augering, coring, down-the-hole hammering and even dynamic penetrometric testing and compaction control.
Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Powerful Drilling Rigs
APAGEO - Powerful and Robust Drilling Rigs
The Apafor® 570 is a powerful and robust drilling machine that can work in the most difficult conditions, whether it is in the heat of a tropical country or in the cold. Thanks to its versatility, this drilling machine can operate in conventional coring, wireline coring, auger drilling and destructive drilling of all types (rotary, down-the-hole hammer and optional off-hole hammer). Drilling can be done vertically or inclined. The Apafor® drilling machine is available in 2 versions: the tracked version is still the most popular, but the truck mounted version is a good alternative to facilitate logistics and offer a large storage capacity (the usual truck makes are MAN and Iveco, but other makes can be considered). The truck mounted version has a hydraulically lowered tool tray and an assisted manipulator arm, a multitude of tools, rods and tubes can be handled safely and effortlessly by one operator.
Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Heavy Dynamic Penetrometers
APAFOR - Heavy Dynamic Penetrometer
The Apafor® 50 is the economic model of the heavy dynamic penetrometer range for penetrometric testing and ramming. It is the ideal machine to start a basic geotechnical activity with a limited budget. Very compact, this penetrometer is also very quick to position, whether in working, transport or storage position, thanks to its folding mast. Dynamic penetration tests are carried out with integrated blow counting, and samples are taken by means of a beaten corer (for samples not reworked under translucent sheath), Shelby corers or window corers. The Apafor® 50 is completely autonomous with its thermal engine. Thanks to its 3 robust feet, the stability and verticality of the mast are assured. The Apafor® 50 heavy dynamic penetrometer is available with a HONDA GX100 petrol engine. Heavy dynamic penetrometer on wheels for penetrometric tests and sampling by ramming.
Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Static Penetrometers and CPT Equipment - Compact and Stand-Mounted Penetrometers
Portable Static Penetrometer On Wheels
The FOX100 portable 100 kN penetrometer is the low-cost model in the range of static penetrometers for mechanical and electrical CPT testing. It is the ideal machine to start a basic geotechnical activity with a limited budget. Its small footprint and modularity also allow it to be used in confined areas. This penetrometer is a reliable, versatile and easy-to-use piece of equipment. The design of its double cylinder push frame allows the use of all types of measuring systems, both mechanical and electrical, as well as all types of push/pull systems. The 1175 mm stroke allows the use of all types of 1.0 metre long CPT rods.
Drilling Rigs and Penetrometers - Static Penetrometers and CPT Equipment - Penetrometers Cabins
Panther - Penetrometer Cabin Track
The PANTHER Tracked Cab Penetrometers are manufactured to the desired reaction force (100 to 200 kN), on a reinforced chassis based on a high quality carrier offering extremely low ground pressure (far superior to truck or even tracked truck models). They allow CPT tests to be carried out in difficult terrain and difficult to access sites, thus offering high productivity for reliable, safe and efficient work. The frame is made of 10mm thick steel sheets, including 4 hollow steel sections for the integration of the track. It also includes steel weights to balance the centre of gravity of the unit. The floor of the cab is thus perfectly flat.
Sonic Drilling Machines and Equipment
SONIC - Light Drilling Rig
The SRS range is the most compact and lightest sonic probing machine in the world (less than 5 tons depending on the options chosen). It is the successful integration of roto-sonic technology, very high frequency vibration 150 Hz combined with rotation, on a machine of reduced size and very easy manoeuvrability. This is the optimal solution for undisturbed sampling, much faster and of much better quality than the usual techniques. The SRS probers are available in 2 versions: PL (the lightest) and ML (the most powerful). They are easy to use, ideal for hard-to-reach sites and offer different options for fast, clean and high quality drilling to a typical depth of more or less 50 metres depending on geology and diameter.
