The system boasts a rack and pinion operation, enabling positive movement in both directions and eliminating common issues related to pulleys and cables. Suitable for both exterior and interior mounting, the vents are custom sized to maximize air intake openings and incorporate high-profile gaskets for optimal sealing. This solution uses proven Wadsworth hardware for reliable, trouble-free control. Rack and Pinion Operated Modular Curved Wall Inlet
The Modular Curved sidewall air inlet with Rack & Pinion operator optimizes air throw and distribution. The simple and robust design makes this air inlet system as close to Zero Maintenance as possible. The vent is constructed of PVC, ABS, and stainless steel. This makes the product durable, which is key for poultry and livestock environments. The low thermal conducting frame minimizes condensation around the vent in cold climates. The air inlet comes complete with rubber seals & brush seals to eliminate air leakage when the baffle is closed. There are optional Air Intake Hoods available to protect the inlets from driving rains. The Modular Curved vent is available in several standard sizes. The vent can be ordered in custom sizes to create a "best fit" for any environment.
