Apex Quality Assurance training

AS9100 uses all the ISO 9001 standards as a foundation, building on additional regulatory requirements and notations pertaining specifically to aerospace quality needs. Instead of being produced by ISO, AS9100 is backed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), This 2-day course consists of the first part of our Lead Auditor Training was developed to cover all requirements of both the ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D standards.

This one and a half-day course was developed to cover all requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. The course includes definitions from ISO/IEC 27000:2018 (Information Security Management Systems – Overview and Vocabulary), Guidance from ISO/IEC 27003:2017 (Information Security Management System Implementation and Guidance).

Even though ISO 9001:2015 is used as the model for teaching systems and audit, this course enables students to develop and apply auditing skills using any applicable management system standard. Apex QA is continuing to offer courses that cover the ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The auditing guidelines—including the auditing process and methodologies, e. g., planning and conducting an audit, writing nonconformity statements, preparing an audit summary and report, and verifying corrective actions—and their application in the aerospace process approach are covered.
